according to Thomas brothers and Stephen Hopkins he is not "an elder", "a clan leader" and so on, so give your own idea excluding those two if you're so clever )According to P. he's a tour guide.

The subtlety creates the allure.
Its kind of sad i watched the end of over and over again as well. But i think the reason we would do that is because we never got another movie.I dont get it, did predator 2 do poor in the box office
I agree with that completely but by the end of the second film the mystery of the predator was pretty much spent. I know you mean the lost tribe, it's cool that over the years their mystery has propelled them. Hell I had no idea they had names till a few years ago. But I think they cut that scene way too short, you barley see them appear and not a few seconds later they leave. Would have been nice to let that scene breath a little and show those awesome designs more. I wonder if they deleted any scenes with them or if they were in a draft of the script with more to do. Just glad hot toys are making p2 elder again since I missed him the first time.

I never really put much thought into it before but I don't understand what all those predators were doing down there anyway. It looks like a whole clan of predators went through a lot of trouble landing on earth and hiding just to wait on one of them while they hunt, before just taking off again. And since we've only seen them lose, when is their hunt finished?
thats so sad, thanks for info .... i didnt know it was like that.

Well, whatever he is, he is clearly more experienced, more decorated by trophies, grey in the hair, has lots of wrinkles on his forehead and more facial hair...I think he is definitely older than the others, more grizzled for sure with old war wounds, and in a position of leadership or position to reward a victor in the least.
The older, more experienced is usually placed in a higher position in tribal society...
I'm gonna go with the clue that he is "grey" because he is "old and--"
And due to whatever experience he has, it has placed him in this leadership role...remember the other preds acknowledging him before they excuse themselves?
Sign of respect is usually shown to the head of the group.
I just hope they re-issue the AVP elder now....I never did get him
His hunt is finished when he makes his prize kill - Lt. Mike Harrigan.I never really put much thought into it before but I don't understand what all those predators were doing down there anyway. Just to be clear, Broken Tusk aka Dachande is the predator clan leader from the AvP comics. Cracked Tusk is the name of the Kenner toy.Machiko refers to Cracked Tusk (based on Grayback/Elder/whateverrthe****peoplewannacallhim from Predator 2) as the clan leader, right? I always thought that was a good designation.
