I'm thinking about getting an extra Rogers head when the set is parted out... that way I wouldn't have a headless Steve if I wanted to switch sculpts on Cap.

I did that already for the same reason. I paid quite a bit for it but I can't imagine it being much cheaper once it's parted out stateside. I want to put the Roger's head sculpt on Golden Age but I didn't want to sacrifice the civvie figure to do so. I want to display all of them together, or at least have them all displayed in some manner.

Think my setup will be:

STRIKE Cap with Widow (why did I sell Nick Fury?)

Civvie Steve with V1 Winter Soldier (shield punch)

Golden Age with V2 Winter Soldier (leather jacket from first appearance)

I'm tempted to bash a 2nd Widow for her Apple Store civvie look. I would just need to find a baseball cap for Steve that doesn't look ridiculous.

Probably not. I really like the Stealth Cap look, but I love my First Avenger Cap even more (poor articulation and all). I may be tempted depending on how the in hand pictures look, but I'm trying to stick to just one Cap figure for my collection.

I'll inevitably want to display Cap facing off against the Winter Soldier (when I pick him up), and my current plan is to have a comic-inspired setup with FA Cap and Winter Soldier. But I loved the bridge scene from the movie, and Jingobell has some great pictures of that with civilian Steve, so that's incredibly tempting. That'd also give me an excuse to pick up Stealth Cap, who'd go along great with Black Widow. Wait, didn't I say no to this set? Well, it won't be so hard for me to say yes. :lol

Its hard not to have more than one Cap, and this set is just perfect

These figures will give you a lot of options, so I guess you have BW too? she's the only TWS figure I have for now... she is there alone waiting for the guys :lol

right.. :slap I didn't think of that :lol

Wonder how long before a custom clothing set of the civilian outfit that actually mattered in the movie is offered?

I prefer the snazzy boots on the civilian Cap that we are getting.
The civilian outfit provided is nice, but if I'm going to pose him fighting WS, I'd rather have the civilian outfit he was in during that fight.

Steve Rogers has at least 2 custom movie clothing sets released that I know of, so it would be cool if his WS fight outfit was offered by someone. Not those $300 custom clothing sets though :lol The $60 range stuff, like the "Pop Toys - Locomotive Captain".

I don't care much for scene accuracy, I collect my favorite version of a character. For instance Stealth Cap is for my "unique" Avengers lineup that also includes Light Armor Thor, ASM, and The Wolverine. And that's far from screen accurate, lol.

I've had that multiple times in here since I've become a member .....

Yeah, the HT civi outfit is in the movie, I was only saying I wanted another toy company to make the alternative civi outfit, so I can kitbash my own.

I still can't believe that between Cap and WS we didn't get this shield. This should be the one that comes with the two pack instead of the "barely red" one.

For sure

I have the two pack ordered, I don't know if I'm keeping it or selling it off yet though.

Despite this being my most anticipated release of the year I don't care for the final product.

Stealth Cap has an awesome headsculpt but I don't like the body. It just looks thin and toyish, even compared to other HT figures.

Steve Rogers is awesome from head to toe, but neither shield goes with him.

So of the two-pack there's an awesome masked head but no acceptable body and an awesome civilian Steve with no acceptable shield. I know things often look better in hand, bla bla bla but I don't see one shot of Stealth Cap that I like. I don't go all "Ledger Joker" with spending hundreds extra on piecemeal parts and swap out bodies to get the figures to look right. I'm not rolling the dice with $340.

All is not lost though. I really do love both sculpts so what I'll do is just wait for a decent price on the unmasked head and get it to stick on my GA Cap. Between him, WS, and Falcon I'll end up with a nice helicarrier trio and will just let Stealth Cap and Widow be represented in 1/4 scale instead.
