Hot Toys MMS Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Armored Batman Collectible Fi...

Finally gave in and pre-ordered Armored Bats, I keep looking at the fig and knew I had to pull the trigger sooner or later. lol

I just did the same thing last night. Lol. And even the Superman too. Frank Miller's Dark Knight is the "end all be all" Batman comic story for me, and the film's/HT's version of the suit is just about as great as a film adaptation as you can get. For $250 big ones, I would have liked to have an unmasked head sculpt, however I didn't see him unmasked while in the mechanical suit in any of the trailers. They better not come out with it later. That would make be a tad angry. Lol.

I agree they should have released the batsignal with the armored batman as a dual pack but i dunno they probably want to get more money from selling it seperately. Still waiting for the batsignal and the batmobile to go up for preorder to be honest. I want those items just as much as the armoured batman and the wait is killing me...

For $250, The bat signal should have absolutely came with it. Hopefully they change their minds and decide to include it. If they don't, I guess I'll use the one from the Dark Knight set I have. Lol.

It would be pretty badass if you could take off the armoured peaces to reveal the regular suit bats underneath

I just saw from I think the Barbie thread where some people did that.
I think that's great for those who wanted to do an extensive project. But for me personally, I would have probably use a zod body and suit, and by the time it's finished, I would have spent close to what you would spend on the hot toys armored bats.

What I'm pretty happy with this project is that I only spent $29 and honestly surprised even myself that it can hold its own against my hot toy pieces.

That would never happen as the movie suit is probably part cgi and difficult for HT to replicate the effect of the suit on body accurately. They already have trouble with the normal suit. Add in pieces would make him seem fatter and look weird, almost like a cosplayer perhaps. In the movie the cgi helps create the effect but tough to replicate in 1/6. Would be nice to see if it can be done right of course.

I'm wondering since these won't be released until this Summer, if they will have a unmasked Bruce/Affleck head sculpt. I'm thinking they will, have kind of a hunch this is happening. Be really stupid if they didn't honestly. I've already pre-ordered both Bat figs and once the Knightmare Batman figure is released I'll buy that one too. lol

Supes actually de-masks him in that dream too, so here's hoping. I also really really hope they just include the bat signal with the armored Bats. For the money we're spending, it seems like it would be appropriate.

I highly doubt they will include the bat signal out of kindness. That's a big accessory to just decide to include after the piece has been up for order. It's not like an extra gadget or something.

I'll honestly be a bit peeved if the Batsignal is offered with any other figure, no other figure makes sense for a combo.
It's either solo or with Armoured Batman

The new signal looks awesome but you can clearly see it destroyed in the new clip so I guess it wont have to much screen time.

So stoked. I know you have to have a Chocolate membership to purchase one (they did that with the Storm Trooper Collab), and then from there you have to buy the shirt and the figure. I don't know anyone in HK, so I'm hoping to link up with someone that can be a liaison for me and purchase one on my behalf if that's the case again. Very excited!
