It just makes me depressed at how far comic writing has fallen.

It doesn't make sense to make it 5- or 10-percent diecast and tack on another $50.

I want this bastard 100% diecast so it's so heavy it shatters the top Detolf shelf and causes a chain reaction, breaking and crushing the other shelves and figs below. Armageddon in 1/6 scale.

Diecast will only drive the price sky high. Last thing I need is to pay extra $100 or even more. Don't need to get into IM territory. Is perfect the way it is.

MY 2 gripes is the faceplate and the lack of articulation. I'm speculating on that but it looks like his legs will barely move.

I went to Toys r us last weekend to see if they have the 19" Jakks Batman v superman when I ran into this mattel 12" armored bats.
I saw it had a lot of potential...and for $29...decided to repaint it.
I'm very happy how the figure turned out.
Much like the MOS repaint, I wanted to mimick the heavily filtered look of Snyder's film

Thanks. Yeah, even as stock it looked great. That's why I was surprised.
I set it back on the shelf, cause I was only looking for the Jakks Batman since I'm impressed with all
the recent mods I saw on that figure.
But I figured...for $29, this is not a bad project.
