Straight out of the box. Sorry, I'll try and be more creative tomorrow, but I've only just got home and it's almost 11pm.. I'm not sure pulling hands off (I still haven't got the plastic behind the sleeves off) is a good idea at this time of night... and I haven't decided if I want to go effects with her or not yet.

SilverStar and Kimi, I'll probably eventually put all three together Charlie's Angel style. I figure one should have the magic. I just haven't decided whether it should be NA or Civil War. I'd like to keep the Ultron heart with AoU as it is unique to her. I also plan to keep her joints as hidden as possible, so nothing too fancy.

I may eventually go for CW with the effects, between the two AoU figures. But with the different gloves on the two figures I wonder if would look better doing the effects with NA.. hmm, decisions..

Great pictures. Congrats again on receiving the figure. :duff

You mentioned this one seems limited on poseability as compared to the previous civvie AoU Wanda; what do you feel, from what you can tell, is limiting her articulation on this figure?

I presume you plan on acquiring CW SW also? If so, my humble opinion would be to pose this one without the magic effects, being that she didn't use them at all in this outfit at the end of AoU. I personally would have civvie Wanda with the magic effects, this one without, then CW Wanda with the effects again.

If I end up keeping mine, I think this is the pose I'll be going for. Something along these lines:

Thank you!!

The suit, more than anything, is what I feel is limiting the posability. Where you can essentially (??) double joint her elbows and arms in the civvie AoU Wanda so she can do some great wiggly woo poses, you can't with NA because of the sleeves on the suit - I don't actually think the body does it anyway, but even so you can't achieve those same poses. Pants are fairly tight as expected and you can't make her "lunge" as much as civvie Wanda, and then there's no ankle articulation because of the boots so it's more difficult to pose her without the stand holding her in place, and you can't achieve a "proper" flying/levitating pose like I've got going because you can't face her feet downwards, they're stuck in that one position. And one more thing - her hands too. Because of the gloves design, you can only have her hands in that one position and not bend them up and down at the wrist for those wiggly woo poses too.

I am planning on getting CW Wanda too, yes :) Thanks for that - I've posed her with the wiggly woos for two reasons: 1) I don't want to leave them in the box :lol and 2) I'm using them as a way of emulating that she's levitating as she was at the end of AoU, because if you see in the scene, she does have some faint wiggly woos going on, but they're reflected in the floor tiles so not very clear :)

That's a good pose! I may change the pose again to something similar, depending on if the stand starts digging in to the jacket while I've got her levitating or not. But I've got my civvie Wanda in a battle pose, then this one in the levitating pose, and then CW will be something similar to one of her poses from the movie again! :lol for now, at least!

I appreciate it--was thinking of trying to emulate CW (smaller) gloves underneath jacket....but not sure sleeves look finished enough to do that and make it look natural.

Ooh yeah, good idea! You might be able to get away with it, you'll just have to test it out and see!

She looks great, Kiwi!! :D The plastic peels off easy enough once you've got the hands off, fun job for tomorrow! :D

:lol I love it! You could have them with NA Wanda, if CW Wanda ends up coming with a different effect like the proto pics show is a possibility :)

Congrats again Kiki :hi5:

Thanks for reporting on the limited articulation, the only thing I don't like there(because I do museum poses) is the lack of ankle articulation, quite disappointing.

Nevertheless, awesome job posing her up

Here's some photos I took with my phone, including one for Heroman - the sleeves :)

I love her, but that doesn't mean much coming from me, the Wanda fanatic :rotfl I think she looks great. I think she's quite limited in terms of posing though, compared to her other AoU fig, but that could also just be me being ultra careful with her :lol

Nice pics! Can't wait to get mine!

I haven't looked at her limb movement too much. What you see in my photos is all I have done so far. Assemble the stand, peel all the plastic off (except for whats behind the wrists) and stand her up... but I would imagine even if she has the same joints as her predecessor the clothing is going to restrict her just by the nature of it.. Like AoU Cap..

That doesn't bother me too much, as I don't get too fancy with my posing. I've kept AoU fairly simple because I just can't look past the exposed joints. So I kinda have to self force myself to be simple..

As we've seen in older photos. She is a little taller standing up, and the hair is a different colour... so she definately isn't a cheap "repaint" As a simple museam peice I much prefer her.

Thanks Brainy! :hi5: Yeah the ankle articulation is a bit of a bummer but going off what I've heard about Maria Hill and Black Widow's figures with similar boots, I wasn't surprised :p

Yeah, I'm not too bothered by it really, I expected it when I saw the nature of the suit. I'm just happy to have her at all! :lol But yeah compared to my AoU Civvie Wanda, NA is quite museum pose for me. But I don't mind, means she can go on my other display shelf if I want to display her more prominently :D

So is SSC already shipping these out. My last flexed got moved to Septmeber.

SS is starting to ship them slowly, but me and Kiwi live in New Zealand/international orders so we were shipped out first :)

Congrats to all our fellow overseas collectors who are getting them. She looks really good.

I'm usually a museum pose kinda guy, I think I might go for the pose from Toysapiens...really to fire energy bolt pose...

Mine wouldn't be here til September...*sigh*

Ah yeah that's true, good point! I'll probably go for that pose that I showed you earlier, but with the translucent "wiggly woo" hands. Haha. Sans the magic accessories though.

Hi, I'm Wanda, and this is my twin the Scarlet Witch..
