Nice comparison pics, the best ones I have seen so far especially this one.

My guess is the ss suit is actually thicker, not only because of the lighter color.
When I receive mine, I will remove the bat suit and see what they have improved on the suit.

Definitely looks bigger for whatever reason

I wonder if it's possible to insert paddings in the BVS suit so it'll be as beefy as the SS version....

Mine is the 'BvS Batman movie accurate cape made by the softest fabric'. It looks likes like leather but is very light, soft and drapes nicely. It's how the HT stock cape should have come if you ask me.

Thanks again, buddy! After viewing your photos in high-resolution, I can see that it looks like leather but is actually fabric. I think this is what Jaxon was describing when he told me that it's a material that won't flake overtime unlike pleather. Looks really good!

The great thing about it is how easy it is to put on and right away it just drapes as it should. I get frustrated with capes you have to constantly play around with to get a natural look. In his videos Dean Knight speaks really highly of the capes Jaxon did for the Keaton Batman to.

Unreal toys has awesome capes available to, can't go wrong with either in my limited experience.

Just unboxing mine now, not had time to do much futzing, put him straight on the stand. No way he will fit in a single detolf at full wing span. Just tried and he encroach's about half way into the next detolf window in my cabinet. The grey card is just a temporary measure until I find something more permanent btw[emoji38]the LED reflection from the back of the glass was giving me headaches.

This figure is now a real dilemma for me. The wired cape is pretty amazing when you have it spread out but I only just got an awesome Jaxon non wired cape that drapes beautifully. Dare I now keep my BvS figure to display using that cape standing with Wonder Woman and Superman and use this figure in a stand alone display. Having two almost identical figure(minus the cape) seems a luxury at the price these things cost.

Regarding the suit colour, the difference isn't as much as I'd hoped. While the grey is a little lighter the bat symbol on his chest is also lighter and the outline of it is not as pronounced as on my BvS figure meaning the contrast between the two isn't much different. Just a minor nitpick of course, both are truly awesome figures.

Sorry for the long post. :lol
Your SS Batman looks awesome, great pics with outstretched cape! Am I seeing things or did you link 2 detolfs together?

Great pics sj2106! Along with those comparisons! There are some things I prefer on the SS figure, but not drastic enough to feel like I'm missing out on too much having just the BvS version. I have Jaxon's wired cape ordered, which will cover me on that nicely.

Thank you and no you are not seeing things. :lol
I did link 2 detolfs and used the two spare side pieces of glass as the front and back of a third detolf. Had a roof and raised base made up for it all to slot into. Got rid of the individual glass shelves and bought three perspex shelves to span the width of the cabinet. Each is about 1 metre 15 cm across. The only real downside is the middle section not opening but it's easy to place figures in there from either side door.

This figure does look great in a detolf but I still feel to fully do him justice with his cape at full wing span you'd need to take a shelf out. I had him barely off the ground on the flight stand and he was still nearly banging his head on the shelf above. Ideally he should be towering over the figures below. Harley, Joker, Deadshot. Any combination of them would work well.

Thanks for the kind words. I think you summed it up well. If you can get hold of this version without ending up out of pocket it's worth it but certainly not worth paying a load more on top of what the BvS figure cost. I got lucky getting one from KG hobby for £246 shipped, only £10 more than I paid for my BvS figure. I certainly wouldn't have paid £300+ for the improvements most of which can be achieved by modding the BvS figure anyway.

Jaxon's wired cape will be better than the one this comes with but it works pretty well for the most part. I hope I live to see the day HT make great stock capes for Batman. :lol

How does one go about getting getting a Jaxon cape?

I'm wondering if the SS Batman will still have the peeling issues or if HT managed to address that. I want to be able to pose my Batman holding the grenade gun with both hands.

Just send him a PM on here and he'll give you all the details.

Right.
I switched the hands and pulled at the cape a bit. I aimed for and got (fir the most part) a scalloped flight mode look.

I them, kind of puppet fashion, flew the figure into my girlfriend's face. She got a fright and reacted, oddly enough, in the same manner as Alfred did when first seeing Bruce in the Batsuit (Mask of the Phantasm).
So I 'flew' the figure towards myself. The cape moved really realistically.
Next mini project- film and make a gif of this figure, in flight !!

When I get mine, Ill shape the cape and pose to look like this

I'll probably pick up a bootleg sniper rifle on ebay or somethin'. Or pose him with the Bat Brand™.

That looks good man. Looks like the Bat symbol.

Almost.... it's the center point I can't get right. As the figure is supported on the stand , the cape drapes over a sticky outy bit ( technical term), and the lower point always look good till I pick it up, and gravity takes over !! Haha!!
It'll get there after a bit more Messing around with it. All things being equal, this is a brilliant figure, and I totally recommend it.

And... decided to have some fun with this and (still) my favorite Batman toy.....
