Right.
I switched the hands and pulled at the cape a bit. I aimed for and got (fir the most part) a scalloped flight mode look.

I them, kind of puppet fashion, flew the figure into my girlfriend's face. She got a fright and reacted, oddly enough, in the same manner as Alfred did when first seeing Bruce in the Batsuit (Mask of the Phantasm).
So I 'flew' the figure towards myself. The cape moved really realistically.
Next mini project- film and make a gif of this figure, in flight !!

Has anyone had much luck getting this cape into any good poses outside of the arms outstretched flying one? Keep trying to get a good standing pose with the cape billowing in the wind but it just looks terrible. :lol

Look around the web, people have put the cape in some great position

Damn, just dawned on me this figure doesn't come with the handcuffs he placed deadshot in.

I was going to purchase one of these, but after the suits of my BvS and AB deteriorating, I think these figures are just a waste of money. Over enough time, all of these figures will deteriorate, making them worthless.

Umm, what about no.

So, are you saying that rubber doesnt deteriorate and Hot toys figures doesnt have a reputation for using bad rubber?

Well these aren't diamonds..

According to your flawless logic, cars break down eventually so its just a waste of money. They break down, making them worthless.

:cuckoo:

A car serves a purpose- to get you from point A to B. A figure has a purpose too-- to look good and last a long time considering its cost. This figure looks great, but it will not stand the test of time.

PS: Relax guys. No need to get triggered.

Well, depends how you take care of them and other conditions. I'm living in place without humidity, without months and months of tropical temperatures and figures are of course out of direct sunlight. So my guess is they will last good decades before something will happen.

Unfortunately, there have been numerous reported cases of figures deteriorating inside of boxes. I also would argue that defeats the purpose of owning a figure. I like to display them in museum poses and admire the craftsmanship. This line of figures has been plagued with rubber problems, and I am over it. Hopefully the JL figures will have a jump in quality.

Plastic also deteriorates over time. With that logic, there would be no point in owning any figures. I do my best not to think about it. So far, my BVS still looks mint, with no issues (maybe because of how I handle it, or maybe the lack of playing with it, who knows?), so I wouldn't hesitate to get this one. I just couldn't get it due to SOLD OUT....

I heard of some dude trying to put the figure in the freezer. I think I read that one on Facebook or something.

Sounds really stupid but you can try that to see if it works for you. :dunno

There have been cases of the figure deteriorating but statistically speaking, its a very small minority.

I wouldn't be surprised if some percentage of that is due to owner negligence more than anything.

Checks all the Hot Toys figures...even the ones bought all the way back from when I first started collecting...

Yup...still looks beautiful!
