Well I know everyone has already moved on, but I just got this figure and absolutely love it (probably even more than the Spidey I also got this week). And it looks like it should be really fun to pose as well. Haven't even bothered trying on the long coat or jet pack yet, since the look he comes with out of the box is already my favorite.

Awesomeness. Great picks and setup. So many looks with Star Lord...that was hardest part with having Figure...to choose on how to display him. I’m close to buying a regular to have two on display but with everything hitting early I’m hard pressed to spend money on a figure I already have.

You could buy another deluxe and just sell everything off on eBay but the pants, belt, boots and body. There’s so many extras with the deluxe that you’d likely make all your money back and be able to display him both ways. I almost did that but I think I’ll just stick with the one figure.

This is Hot Toys. New shirt, new stand, new release. Wouldn't surprise me, anyway.

Rocket is pretty much identical save a new gun and he's getting a second go, albeit in a two pack.

Bought the extra body and parts to put together another starlord, but wasn't feeling the look. So instead I threw together a different look. Was inspired by some of the concept art for starlord. Kinda going for a star lord "origins" figure.
