Re: Hot Toys Acquires The Matrix License

Those figures look bad.

I almost don't believe Hot Toys made them. I'd be willing to believe they hastily cobbled them together for a show, but they look like bashes.

Usually their figures look incredibly awesome on display, but everything I see here looks like some "uber fan" posed them for the show.

I rarely see any HT figures on display in action poses, that Neo pose is really throwing me off.

They should probably reconsider displaying figures so early, unless they’re looking really good.

It's not prototype official pics. Calm , guys. They will improve it.

Re: Hot Toys Acquires The Matrix License

I wouldn't say the figures are horrendous (like those Pulp Fiction figs with the crappy suits clearly were)... but they're definitely nowhere near the level of the customs Marfmaster was showing off earlier. Which is really the kind of thing I was hoping for when I saw the announcement.

Re: Hot Toys Acquires The Matrix License

We can all agree that displaying these obvious placeholders may not have been the brightest move made by the Hot Toys Marketing Dept. but I am surprised that so many experienced collectors are somehow under the impression that Hot Toys is releasing those figures that were on display.

I can't get over all the people who think these figures look bad. I get Smith may have RS head because of the hair...but WTF is wrong with Neo? I think he looks awesome!

Yeah you tell them, they didn't release the same John Matrix previewed.

Careful, you’re on a soapbox!!!!!

Re: Hot Toys The Matrix 1/6 scale figures

Smith should cost $100 tops so that people could actually buy multiple figures and pile them on the Neo one.

Re: Hot Toys Acquires The Matrix License

I think he was talkin' about another Agent Smith:
