As important as Neo and Smith? No. After those two it is Morpheus and a lot more requested than Trinity. Yes, Trinity is a major character, but the ones that matter are Neo and Smith.

Hopefully Hot Toys does the characters people want, even the Oracle if you want it or the Frenchman. But you have to agree that Neo and Smith will be the big sellers for sure. Most people will want the pair, not just one or the other

I imagine if we do get 4, Neo and Smith with be shown first, then Trinity/Morph. Guess we’ll see.

Well, that's after the choice he had to make with the Architect, which was what I was referring to. The door to saving Trinn lead to having to save Zion, instead of restarting a new Zion. He still saved Zion because that's the last of humanity, not because of Trinity's death at the end. Spoiler.

But the point is that no character in the Matrix is more important than Neo or Smith.

I don't see it as a stretch that HT would make Trinity. They have never had a problem with doing bad *** females.

I have been thinking about making a Neo custom. But now happy to wait....

Unfortunately, with these Lines HT usually makes a lame *** first pick for release....(like Tonto)

We probably will get Mouse as the first figure...

It is out of left field.

HT acquired the licence years back and only made the sentinel (perhaps as that was all the license allowed) and has been dead since. So it is a surprise.

They've shown Neo and smith so they will obviously be first.

Would have preferred Smith with an angrier facial expression. I already have Nick Fury & Punisher in my collection; I don't need another dude in a long black jacket on my shelves, so no Neo for me.

I wonder if they have license for only first movie to test the interest and sales.
That will change the priority and production order of the characters

That is subjective in my opinion. Morpheus does a lot more things of importance for Neo and Zion than Trinity

I'm sure HT doesn't decide which characters get made based on how important that character is to the plot.

Opposed to which are more popular and likely to sell.

He so is.
He found him, trained him, taught him, made him The One. While everyone else just supported that task and followed suit, including Trinity. So an argument could be made there.
Anyhow...
Here's to what will hopefully be a well planned, well executed, well rounded, high quality license of all great characters in there own right.

Exactly what I'd like to see!! I think it would be in HT best interest to produce these figures from the trilogy as opposed to film specifics. Make Neo able to achieve both looks.. lobby and Superman long coat. Apply that to every figure and they'll sell more and we'd definitely see more characters.
