Awesome, been waiting for this for at least a decade (since the Medicom versions lost their lustre).

Am probably still gonna have to get Redman's iminime knockoff for the sake of completeness. And I'm holding out for HT to do Reloaded/Revolutions Neo.

He is(was) a data being later becomes human. Neither Aliens nor Robots tho.
I also think 'general collectibles' is correct category, but moderator should decide.

Well he got control over A human ( what was his name Bane?)
Nonetheless it only makes sense in this category if Hot Toys decides to make the APU or Sentinel.
With Neo, Smith, Trinity and Morpheus - none of them are Aliens/Robots

Don't understand your confusion. Perhaps you're taking the title of this section too literally. But, as mentioned above by Prime Clone, even the humans in the movie are cyborgs based on their implants. Smith is a program written by a machine. The entire matrix is created by advanced AI machines. Cyborgs, AI, machines, etc, would be covered under the quick-title "Robot" of this section. "The Machine" is a concept that is best suited under "Robot" here.

You don't think a cyborg could be categorized under the general heading "robot" but you believe the APU -- which is basically a mechanized combat suit -- is a robot?

Didn't they already do those, or did they not get past the prototype stage? I actually thought this thread was a hangover from that original license announcement, and that was why it was under Aliens & Robots.

I still reckon General Collectibles is more appropriate but ain't gonna get cut up about it.
