I really like this announcement and strongly considering buying Neo. I hope they will release Trinity to go with Neo.

Been looking at the spec photos and realized something. As iconic as the Reloaded/Revolutions robes are for Neo, the most you can really do with that design is a stoic pose holding one hand up. The more dynamic you go, the more awkward it might look because the crisply-tailored robes are closed, creating limitation. There's also an elegant aesthetic you may not necessarily want to betray with a playful pose and loads of accessories.

The original movie design has more potential for fun in figure form. You get four pairs of weapons, loads of straps, and an open trench coat that lends itself well to crazy posing. Essentially, a high-end piece with a closer connection to its action figure roots than most of what HT releases nowadays. No rubber and few leather/pleather parts too. You don't have to be afraid to play with this thing. That's incredibly refreshing.

I doubt it. My guess would be they will make Neo and Agent Smith from the first movie and Neo from "Reloaded" and that's it.

The Reloaded version is the only one I really want but I'm grabbing this just in case they don't get to it. Got plenty of Reloaded outfits and accessories already.

A wired coat would make all the difference:

I think there are lots of poses you can do with Reloaded look. His kung fu and holding bladed weapons in various stances.

It'd be harder to get something believable though, IMO. That look is incredibly stiff and unless you've got top-tier fabric and tailoring, there's a chance of going overboard and getting a toyish feel. I suppose you run that risk with any figure, but the more elegant the outfit, the greater the risk.

This figure inspired me to google the old Matrix: Path of Neo game. This video of cutscenes is interesting:

Forgive me if this has been asked, but are his boots 2 pieces? (Daredevil, punisher for example)

And don’t you answer Jonny Utah, with your fake news (hot toys aren’t sure If this is going up for pre order) *goes up for pre order 2 days later* you took a year off my life with stress you did! :lol

People were saying they are 2 piece on Facebook but to me it just looks like where the leather folds in on itself
