I watched the original and Reloaded last night. I definitely now agree that the sculpt is a bit off - but it's probably not so off that Hot Toys will feel compelled to change anything so I think this is the exact sculpt people will end up with. It's a pity they won't do a sculpt with some of his hair loosened from that slick look. He spent much of his Matrix-time with his fringe hanging over his forehead - probably much more than not actually.

Pre-order already sold out at BBTS. I didn’t think it would happen this fast.

I suspect BBTS will up their quota and we’ll see the PO back up soon.

The Iminime sculpt is great in hand but it photographed badly, so I dunno... with a Harrison Ford sculpt, what you see in the macro pics is what you get. With this one I’m not so sure.

Neo seems to be a fun to pose figure due to his costume and dynamic stand (base).

He's still available at Timewalker Toys for $223.99 plus shipping, which is about par or even a little cheaper than BBTS depending on where you live. They offer free shipping for orders over $350 and are willing to consolidate items for free shipping. I bought from them before and I had a great experience. The owner, Steven Allen, is a very nice guy who is also very responsive to questions and requests. They also put the Hot Toys brown shipper box inside a larger shipper box for shipping without being asked. It was a nice touch for me.

I think the slick hair is more appropriate since that's how he looks in the poster, and the lobby/roof scene. The hair sculpt is not 100% accurate because even when Reeves has the slick hair, his hair doesn't seem to stay in place, it's like naturally spiky, so I'm not sure how you sculpt that type of hair.

Exactly. HT actually sculpted the best way for it to be.

It wouldn't fit the scene if it was more loose despite him being like that for a majority of the film.

A second sculpt though. To further justify it they could do a different facial expres-......ok, no it'd just be the hair.

You're making me...

PO'd via TW. 238 shipped. WELL worth it. Had the Medicom in the old days, great outfit, sculpt not there. This is pretty close. And all those guns!

Looks amazing for me.

You probably joke yourself if iminime and any other third party attempt better than this.
