I’m thinking the green is the colour correction that was heavily utilised throughout the film. Behind the scenes show black suits.

The Iminine it’s based on is better, but this is pretty close. I’ve got one of each.

I honestly think this sculpt (the knockoff & definitely the original) capture the likeness much more than the the iconic or the HT sculpts. Especially if you look at the original movie poster.

The HT & iconic are just more detailed, but less accurate.

I believe HT tends to do idealized portraits, that they make their sculpts symmetrical even if real people all have asymmetrical faces. I remember seeing a photo of an HT sculptor using a mirrored photo of Carrie Fisher as reference for their first Leia.

One thing I like about HT is that they cast in a semi-transparent, molded-in-color plastic, making the heads look softer, more organic and of course, realistic. I think these 3rd party heads (like Iminine's) are molded in opaque plastic, that they reveal the imperfections of the original wax sculpture.

Interesting, makes sense to me. Although i think the Iconic head is better than the hot toy... The new HT head looks like a cross between Keanu and Lou Diamond Phillips :)

Hot Toys lists Jyn's jumpsuit as being green. If I hadn't read it was green I would have never known.

Did you guys ever bought the 10 dvd boxset? The suits in the many behind the scenes are all black, green/blue suits can be done with some ikea led cabinet lights lol

The Iconic Toys sculpt looks good because the eyes have been done particularly well. Almost everyone who'll buy Neo will have the shades on 99% of the time. In which case the real shortcoming of the HT version is in the lumpy sunglasses.

The Iconic sculpt gets a pass because the standards are lower for smaller companies and custom pieces. If that same sculpt had HT's logo on it, people would be pointing out how inaccurate it looks.

I like the hair, nose and the shape of the face, but the eyes look off and so does the mouth, imo. Overall, I prefer the HT sculpt. Can it be better? Probably, but I'm not sure what can make it better.

You don't like the eyes on the IT sculpt? That and the nose are the selling points imo.

I reckon HT's looks fine. Keanu's Neo likeness is a particularly difficult one to photograph I think. Iminime's Neo doesn't hold up in pics very well, but looks great in hand.
