Has anyone here tried soaking their figure's clothing to prevent staining/bleeding? I never have, myself, but I'm already hearing Neo's clothes are an issue.

I do it for everything I buy for kitbashing, regardless of material, and I’ve had tremendous luck. Never had to do it for pre-clothed figures, but I imagine it’s possible. Problem is, the damage has probably already been done since the manufacturers didn’t treat the clothes before they put them on.

Oh wow! Everything (dark in color only, or even the light stuff)?

Ahhh...true. Hm. Stained hands aren't the end of the world, but a stained sculpt really stinks. Maybe I'll wait to see what shape Neo is in when he arrives on other people's doorsteps before I take the plunge!

Keyboard Warriors mentioned in their review; I think they said the arm was staining? I'll probably be soaking like everything he's wearing.

Nice pics, Has Sideshow already start shipping?

Still no billing or shipping soon notice. When I ordered Dead Pool 2 I preordered the moment it went up and literally ended up cancelling my order since so many other retailers already had him in stock in the USA for weeks at the time. The place in Chicago I ordered from had no tax free ship too. Hopefully that doesn't happen again with my Sideshow Order.

I thought sideshow was the biggest Hot Toys retailer. Do they usually get Hot Toys late?

My situation with DP coulda been something wonky since I had ordered Yondu way later than I a friend of mine did and got mine 2 months before he ever even received a shipping soon notice.

Sideshow is the US/EU HT distributor, they're the ones who send them to everyone else. I don't know their preorder system about what order they send figures to people but they definitely send out orders to retailers before fulfilling all of theirs. They have stuff on 'preorder' still sometimes that's just sitting in stock at other places.

I want Reloaded Neo. Needs a new sculpt since his hair is different in it. Can't wait to see the Agent Smith sculpt.

I'd settle for the same sculpt if that's what it took to get one. There was a time HT would do a new sculpt for every single release, but I guess rising costs have forced them to recycle.

I don't know how HT sculpts are made exactly but can they just like sand down the hair on this one and sculpt a different hairdo and save time/money?

I'm surprised that more folk on this thread aren't discussing the oddly shaped, really low chest on this fig. After Keyboard Warriors pointed it out on the review, I couldn't NOT see it. I hope it's less noticeable in-hand...

I can see it if I really look for it, but it's not so pronounced, IMO. Haven't looked under the shirt to see why/how it's shaped that way.

I pose him with the coat on anyway, so it's not really an issue for me regardless.

Yeah I have noticed the chest being a bit low, but to be honest I still prefer that to the seamless body Keyboard Warriors switched over to. If it ends up being too distracting in hand I might try resculpting the chest and moving the pecs up a bit higher.
