The hot toys head is much better to me.

Cannot believe this figure has a fat suit, wtf Ht! Are they really never going to do new bodies and just keep using these generic ones with padding? Ridiculous. I love that body swap but that's just too much work for someone like me.

I am always shocked by how few Bodies Hot Toys uses considering how rediculously high their prices for these figures are.

Eyes on the HT head seem the tiniest bit too far apart or something, but agree it looks better too. Likeness looks best with sunglasses.

I admit there are a few shots where the HT likeness seems just a bit off or generic somehow, but in the vast majority of them I think it looks spot on and as close as you could possibly get.

I'm inclined to agree. Mine is on the way from HK so I'm hoping to see for myself next week-ish.

Watched The Matrix again tonight.....

This figure is almost perfect....going to be a blast to pose and photograph!

But made me realize how much more I want a Trinity over a Smith....

Well, confession time. I used to have all the original SW Kenner lines (figures and vehicle) and most of the Neca/Mcfarlane stuff of the films variety.

Sold them all, and used the cash to travel the world. Which is where I saw HT in person for the first time (Akihabra Japan).

Since then I have been re acquiring the best of my original collection in 1/6.

The ONE figure I kept chasing and didnt nail down from the 1/12 days was Morpheus. This set is still in my estimation, one of the best 1/12 representations of any film character made.
So having it in this format in 1/6 would be a must have.....

Now , its important to remember that most figures were loose (but compete) a few rare ones on a card like Amanaman, all the cereal box extras like ghost Anakin and Bomar Monk. But I had all of them. (Except Blue Snaggle)

All the vehicles worked (including troop transport, Shuttle and ATAT. But none of them had a box.

The playsets were as close to mint as you could find...(even the Sears Cantina and Death Star....

All in all somewhere between 10-12 K. I did sell them just after the ST was announced, which drove prices about 10-20% higher.

yeah he was tiny skinny . i plan on modding the body or swapping it, and stretching that coat out to drape like its supposed to. stock neo just looks like hes wearing a coat one size too small

Just got mine. Of course I’m heading to work, so can’t do much.

I will say — no surprises. Very fun figure, sculpt suffers only slightly head-on, IMO, but very good Keanu likeness. Amazing shelf presence.

No major gripes. A couple of slight ones that reviews have already covered, but nothing I’d call a dealbreaker.

Agreed. I love Marvel, DC and Star Wars properties, but mixing in different characters from other properties adds that real feeling of ‘movie magic’ and prevents collecting fatigue.

I’m in for more Matrix — ESPECIALLY Trinity, unfortunately that looks like a long shot at this point, but surprise me, Hot Toys, and you’ll get my money.
