The headsculpt is the same, but look at that hair.
He stated quite clearly in the video there are no differences between the two versions (Endgame and 2012) and even speculated if this headsculpt is produced at the same time as the Endgame version so as to save on overall costs. If there's a difference then it's purely on the camera lens distortion.

Besides that, he didn't like how this version took out the hoodie, boxy frame again, misaligned star (on his version), colors, plastic shield (his own personal dislike) and various inaccuracies such as the staff box foam, box doesn't have the wheels like it has in the movie.

You state this as if I actually understood what was said in the video lol.

You can show him 2 exact same sculpts with some angle differences and he'd think they're different molds. :giggle:
You guys are probably right...but to me the one on the left has bigger hair. Maybe it's just the paint app...

I wouldn't say 99%, but probably like 33%-44% end up going in the bargain bin for sure. Look at Captain Marvel, Team Suit Tony, Night Monkey you can get them all brand new for under $200 each.

The IW and EG Thanos are both below retail. The newly released Mildly BD Thanos will surely tank in value in due time.

A decent amount of the VG Spidey figs can be picked up for less than retail (Mk. IV, Anti-Ock).

Heck, even a relatively newer release like Rescue can be picked up well below retail now!

I'm almost certain Professor Hulk will nose dive in pricing.

This newly released 2012 Cap doesn't even look that great...the proportions seem to be a bit off. Big wonky Rogers head with slim body...plus, there's just not a lot of chatter regarding this release which equals low interest. Give it time and I'm certain you will be able to pick it up below retail.

The biggest factor to all these discounts is patience. If you're a day one, must-own these immediately kinda collector then you'll always be paying top dollar. For the sake of your wallet you can save too by just being patient.

The only exception to this rule is if HT outputs an extremely low number of figs, case and point: Gamora GOTG Vol. 2...then yeah, it'll sell out quick and in which case you actually did miss out cause it's only avail on secondary market for a premium.
I'm still in the market for the IW Thanos. Where is it being sold below retail? Thanks

I understood what he was saying and plainly state this is what he was saying in the video instead of inferring from the images provided.

Seeing these two beside each other just accentuates how much of a peanut head Endgame Cap has.

The masked sculpt on this figure actually has a really good likeness.

The pinhead on the Endgame Cap really shows up in that comparison.

Yeah, I really don't understand the "praise" EG Cap has received/is receiving.

I remember it was all complaints regarding the prototype and then when the final product released (which did not remedy any of the original complaints - slapped on chest piece, lack of clothe fabric material, lack of traps, etc.) everyone was like "Wow! This looks incredible!!! Best Cap ever!!!"

LOL c'mon gimme a break.

Now another flaw that wasn't known during the prototype was how tiny Cap's head would be! :lol

The only thing HT improved upon was the new Evans sculpt...but that only happened (begrudgingly) because the masses complained about the 4th or 5th reuse of the old sculpt.

You people are only singing its praises because this is as good as it's gonna get so y'all are just trying to justify your purchase for a half-***, mediocre figure.

I'm sure same people who bought this are the ones that complain that Sony's Marvel movies stink, but still go on day one to see it in theaters. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

:gah:Everytime I think ''ok screw it, I'll buy Endgame Cap'' I get refreshed on why I don't like it. The wide shoulders and absent traps making the neck look scrawny and the pinhead on top. The traps could be more pronounced on the 2012 figure but otherwise it doesn't look too bad just standing there. It falters a bit in action poses because of the lack of appropriate facial expressions and, I must admit, the lack of a ball-joint head. (I'm often not fond of ball-joint heads due to the visual disturbance to a sculpt)
