I’m in the ‘I really like it’ camp. Sure, there are things that could be done differently. I was wondering if I could replace the natural arm with an extra unsleeved from Thor to make it seamless. I’m not as wound up about Chippendale Cable since I’m not going to display him topless. I’m really happy with him. It’s subjective, like Jal76 says.

I was thinking of cancelling, but given I utilised part of the $400 in free rewards that I earned last year via only events, I decided to keep it. So in the end I just paid for the shipping.
The body is definitely too small, but I'll be leaving the clothes on anyway, and probably use the poncho.

Mine arrived today and that was my intention. Alas, in the ultimate d*ck move by Hot Toys, they made the shoulder ball joint diameter SMALLER on Cable than on the Thor figures! UN-EFFING-BELIEVABLE! I'm convinced they did it on purpose lol. Anyway, I went to Plan B and put a black one-armed shirt from the OG Winter Soldier under his brown shirt. Its collar sat up too high so I trimmed it down to match the brown shirt. The pleather sleeve started peeling off a bit but I think its worn look better matches Cable's aesthetic anyway. Here are a couple of quick shots of him.

I really dig the psionic shield and gun and think this figures overall aesthetic looks awesome. I don't collect marvel, but as a standalone soldier figure, I think this would be rad to own. Half tempted to buy it but cant afford everything unfortunately.
Got him from Sideshow yesterday, and yeah... he is awesome once fully geared-up.
Have to get him into the display case, but so happy I ordered him.
Only nitpick was that Dusty Deadpool's time device was nicer... better size and
had the clear "window" over the face of it, which this one does not have.

No, the new one is slightly different. No window over the top, also painted all silver instead
of the black outer ring and silver detail on Deadpool's... I prefer the one he came with, it just
looks more "finished", though not sure which is more movie accurate.

Is Cable going to be in DP3 too ? Or only Wolverine ?

For me it HAS been 2 yrs. I ordered cable in 2020.
OK, I got my Cable in today and I am very happy with him. The magnet on his back for the super large gun seems very weak, though and does not really support the gun. I would also appreciate a seamless bare; it may b too big a commitment to shave down the connection in my Thor Infinity War arm, but I may search for another to try it out.

For anyone wanting to shave down the ball in the Thor arm don’t do it. It’s too big for the shoulder socket and even if you get it to pop in the little joint the arm itself sticks out sideways on his body heavy modification would need to be done to cut down the original body
I hate this figure. Plain and simple.
It’s the worst hot toys I’ve gotten in awhile. Legs floppy the stupid too big and jointed bare arm, the oversized head with what I think is a poor likeness to Brolin, his weak light up eye… just gonna me a few of the issues here . All and all a very random much too late addition (albeit a great character choice and greet film) poorly executed by hot toys. As expected. They do this with these characters that they put out that they know are not a typical thing that will sell like hot cakes like an iron man.
