I really don't understand why the solicitation pics have it looking so bizarre. Particularly in the smallest thumbnails, he looks like a schoolboy or a Priest or something.

Good looking figure. Enjoyed the character in the film but yeah, just no interest in having a cop on my shelf, even with the liquid metal effects. Meh.
Even though i have had the 1.0 fr many yrs now, i ordered this anyway. It will be a nice update assuming they don't fudge it up somehow. It includes all the same bits plus new ones. Not sure what i will do with my 1.0 once i have this though.
Same. I’m a little worried that HT will somehow screw this up like the 89 Batman 2.0. I usually will sell my 1.0 figures and get the new one. Good thing I kept my DX09 cause that 2.0 was crap. I may hold on to the T-1000 1.0 until 2.0 is in hand, then I’ll decide if I should sell the old one.
Same i wasn't all that impressed with the batman 89 2.0 proto pics. The sculpt ended up being worse and the suit rubber was basically the same, so you still can't leave the arms in a dynamic pose for long periods without risking damage. Still have my old dx09 as well with custom stand and cape. I don't plan on getting rid of my t-1000 1.0 most likely, just don't have room for redundant figures in my display space.
I'm kinda the same. I'm tempted to get it, but apart from the hole head, it's not that visually interesting. I'd rather save space for T1 and Endo figures.

Pre-ordered this afternoon from Onesixthkit. Shuffled around with shelf space and made room for my po's. Glad Hot Toys is doing these 2.0's . Now get one with T1. Wil only get the T1000 from T2.

UK pricing for HT in Forbidden Planet are absolute rip-off. Example - Armored Batman regular would be twice the price of the Armored Batman Deluxe version here in Hong Kong and Forbidden Planet only offer the regular of that figure. UK pricing is ridiculous I reckon due to import taxes, VAT and they also have to make a profit. UK buyers could perhaps try reputable HK resellers for better pricing and receiving their product earlier.Going to end up droping over £900 on the three T2 figs once im done . Yup, Alter Ego is my go to unless there's an exclusive or I delayed too long and have to order elsewhere. They have great CS as well.

FP pricing is a joke and probably the worst in the UK.
The Good The Bad and The Robot is the best price wise.
Comics and Cocktails and Planet Action Figures are also better choices than FP.
Then there's Hong Kong sellers you could try. Others here will have better advice than I on Hong Kong sellers.
PAF is going through a rough patch atm. I was invoiced for Deluxe Bespin Luke back in May and they still haven't arrived in stock.
