Hot Toys... More Bruce Lee coming!

Oh stop it w/ this essence stuff...

He does a good Lee. That's it. I'm sure other artist around this world can too. Whether they are prominent or put out there for you to see is another thing.

Well unfortuantely it's only the prominent ones that we do see. And so far out of all the prominent ones, Arnie is the best. If you disagree, name a better sculptor when it comes to 1/6 bruce lees and I'll shut up, but until then arnie gets all the love.

Between these 2 photos, the enterbay photo looks a little off with the smile. It seems like the smile is extended too far out like the joker. the "Photo by Arnie" looks more dead on then the enterbay photo.

I think the Hot Toys head sculpt just defeats Enterbays current head.
The likeness of it really looks like the WOTD style.

They're different sculpts from different sculptors bud.

E = YJ Park

I do remember him smiling in GOD, but Enterbay is off with that sculpt. The WOTD smile is right on target.

Why would Enterbay make a rubber body to be covered up by the yellow jumpsuit? It would make more sense the rubber body be made for ETD with battle damage.

As DinoLast said in the other thread, u can't compare the 2 sculpts.

YJ's sculpt is spot on for GoD and Arnie's is spot on for WoD.

Dino doesnt need to explain.
If someone thinks this doesnt look like Bruce Lee then there is no hope for them.
I think some people just have problems seeing Bruce Lees likeness on any figure.
Nearly everyone(family & friends) who has seen my enterbay Bruce Lee collection laugh and say something like "It doesnt even look like Bruce Lee, does it!"
Its so annoying trying to convince them that it does.
After all, im the Bruce Lee fanatic thats watched his movies over a 100 times each and have all his books etc etc...not them. So I should know!
I dunno, I just dont understand some people.

The best likeness till now HAS to be Enterbay's FoF and Kato (Im still trying to get my hands on Kato)
However as for the new ones, I dont have to say anything about Arnie's sculpt

YJ's sculpt is PHENOMENAL for the scene that the sculpt is based on, HOWEVER the other sculpt for the new Enterbay GoD (which Bill said will have Battle Damage added to it) does look a little off, only a little, somewhere with the shape of the jaws and chin maybe. But as its not final, lets see what it turns out to be

I'm a BL fanatic as well. I can understand if some people have a hard time seeing BL in the old EB figures since they don't all look that great IMO. Just take a look at the first GoD for example. That was aweful IMO. You'll notice once you get the new offerings from HT and EB what other people have been saying. I do agree with the other poster that said FoF and Kato are the best to date, but even at that, the new HT and EB will put them to shame judging by the pics...and yes I have some of the old ones in my collection. As for Dino saying it's off, well, I think he's a little off but that's another story.

the problem is that if you have to explain to almost everyone that it looks like BL then it must not look like BL .

i also seen BL movies alot over the years .i just don't know how many times because i was to engulf in watching the film to tally up the total

Kato looks good, but FOF is almost as if EB has taken a step back. Sculpt looks almost nothing like bruce, IMO. Especially the angry sculpt. The so called skin tech looks like normal coated plastic to me.

Having had in hand almost all of EB's bruce stuffs, the best of all would be ETD ver B. yes, its got red cheeks, but Im assuming thats how bruce is when he was shooting on hans island, with all those sun

Ive sold most of my EB bruce already except this one.
