So I rushed home and turns out I missed the UPS delivery for this since they came way earlier than usual

However, my UPS driver left me a note with his # on it saying if I needed it to holler so I did! He was still in town and 10 mins later I got him!

How cool is that? !

Congrats! Mine was at the station for pick up but we had to leave town for Christmas. Will pick him up Thursday!

Saw Mandarin in person yesterday. Wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be, but I'll allow the store also didn't have him posed well or futzed at all. I'm gonna wait a while to buy him if I ever do.

Thanks! I have Red Skull on that shelf too but removed him for the snaps b/c he came out really dark thanks to the crappy iPhone camera.

Mandarin displays very well, I think picking up a few little accessories really amplifies this piece to another level.

I will post a parts list and product links where I purchased my bits when I return tonight for those who asked and PM'd me inquiries. If I happen to forget I'll be placing blame on vast quantities of spiked egg nog!

In the meantime, I was able to finish a temporary backdrop for this display. Hope you enjoy

How did you put the holes in your helmets? I have yet to do that. Did you just use matte black paint to weather the holes?

The Mandarin scenes were amongst my fave in IM3 inspiring my set up FMH, but I'm def a fan of your display! Great minds think alike

Displaying him in any other manner wouldn't work for me, as some others have mentioned wanting a casual Trevor in bed or watching footie in a recliner for examples.

I originally planned to add Loki to round out this villain shelf but his helmet prohibits this. (This shelf sits beneath Iron Monger so the shelf above was dropped to accommodate him).

Anyhoo, I used a Dremel to make the bullet holes in the UN helmets. I used a pencil to make the gunpowder residue marks. I wanted to try that before painting anything permanent and I'm happy with the result.

I don't even have Mandarin on order and I'm not 100% sure if I will end up buying him or not....

Yeah it's in stock and mine will be here next week- AMAZING figure- HT did another stunning job- yes he needed an AK47 but oh well..
