I really want to know what it says on the black card for the Jungle Hunter 2.0

The black card says "prototype". I'm really hoping there will be major changes from Jungle Hunter prototype figure because this is just the Classic Predator figure (which I hate).

The way I look at it is - unless you have a scaled diorama for the figures, you don't have a 'scene'. It's just figures on a toy shelf and the same character/figure over and over again on a shelf just reads as pointless repetition unless there's at least some visual difference from one to the other. It used to be my ambition to have multiple dioramas and I bought multiples of certain figures (both Hot Toys and NECA) towards that end but I've finally come to the realisation and acceptance that I just don't have the space for that nor, in all likelihood, will I ever.

I'm using this dose of reality to inform my purchasing now and in the future.

I have this problem. I actually try to display extra heads cheaptly.

For example, I will spend an extra 10-50 bucks for extra pieces for MacReady the Thing. They gave an extra head, so maybe I will buy something that looks close to his green overalls 10 bucks or so, then get a grey shirt..I may weather the shirt and overalls just because...

I now have the essentials of an extra MacReady figure. I have tons of extra parts over the years like boots and bodies and hands....so that's it.

But yeah, I USED to buy doubles here and there but started selling most of my collection extras.

I also obsess over the Terminator, so I will have one on the bike, one holding the mini-gun but same process, the second head will use cheaper bodies, clothes and so on to utilize all the extra heads.

I recently came to the exact same conclusion and have been selling off my multiples…

I am slowly getting there.

I actually purchased cheaply, Cyclops pieces to make extra Mondo Cyclops heads over the years. Since they gave 5 heads or so, I purchased cheap blue spandex and use that for a cyclops costume....

But again, scene unless I use it for specific scenes/diorama, it's not really worth it for both space reasons and cost. Spending 10-50 dollars here and there does add up.

I had 4....sold 2 but then purchased an extra body for 100 and cape for 5 dollars to make a throne room scene from ROTJ.

I have Vader holding the emperor( I HAVE 3 Emperors) in the air, while Luke is on the ground getting force lightening.

It's not super accurate as I used different pieces to construct everything. Generic black robe and head for palpatine, Vader HT body + Extra Emperors wrath Vader head, and Luke ROTJ Costume from 20 years ago and 3rd party head.

I had that scene at one point, and bought a knock-off emperor, and two royal guards that are still in the box that I am now selling. I am now just sticking with the Emperor hanging out on his throne with Vader, my ANH Vader which is starting to flake will become my battle damaged ROTJ Shaw Vader, and then I will have another Vader dueling with Luke on the Bespin Gantry.

I saw on another thread, the leaked release dates for some figures that are due to be shipped out this month and next which didn’t have the Feral Predator.

The rumour was the Jungle Hunter 2.0 PO was meant to come out around the same time Feral Predator ships so I guess that rumour didn’t follow through

I think we will get a 2.0 eventually 2 years from now, 4 years from now...the point is we will eventually get it.

TBH, so far the prototype displayed is not impressive. Looks pretty much like the Classic. After so many years, they at least could have made a better looking bio-helmet with a more metal looking feel to it rather then this plastic looking thing.

Proportions could also be better. Probably more picky since I have the original and the classic. Wouldn't mind getting another but hope its a proper upgrade. Also would be nice if they just made 2 heads - a biohelmted one and unmasked. Yeah the dreads will cost a little more, but if the proportions are better and final result is better we will pay it and can upgrade the old Jungle Hunter as well. Win-Win.

I agree with the two heads with one being bio helmeted and unmasked. That I feel is a must at this point so they can add the correct quills

The Korean poster on OSR who put up the list answered a question about the Feral:

Man i hope so much they change his dreadlocks, hands and paint application.
