Stick it on the old P1 body and its not so bad, the parts are compatible. Though if they're going to remake it we could just wait for that.

:exactly: still have P1 for this porpose while hoping for two re-issues :lol

As much as I want it, a Hot Toys Aliens Queen will NEVER happen.

The main issue with such a large articulated figure would be balance and support.

However, HT miiiiiiiiight possibly consider making one if it's more of a plastic statue. In other words, poseability everywhere but the legs. The thing would still be massive and ridiculously expensive, so I'm still not sure if it'll ever happen. From what we've seen, it's more likely now than it's ever been... which still isn't saying much when you take into account just what it takes to make such a figure work. There are people willing to spend a lot of money on a 1/6 Queen, but not a lot.

As for Wolf, I might be interested in the remake if it's done properly. No more anorexic body and a paintjob closer to that of the original prototype:

Gotta admit, those colors are nice. Not like the dried-up fruit we ended up getting.

I'm curious.... Are any of yall planning on getting Samurai Predator??? I wasn't sold at first, but I think it's grown on me.

I think NECA are more likely to make a Queen seeing as tankman has made a sculpt already. It would cost much less but might not be as good but hey at least its a Queen. :lol Tankman not said what scale it is however.

It could be doable if it's the same size as McFarlane's attempt. :dunno

Hot Toys, on the other hand... not so sure about them even undertaking such a project.

I will have high expectations for that figure, b/c though the McFarlane figures look out dated now, IMO that McFarlane queen alien is and will always be their master piece (kinda wish I had not sold the two I had).

Those proto pics of wolf are really so different from the figure we actually received. That's one area I feel hot toys has greatly improved in (the transition from proto to mass production). It really makes me feel like the extra money we are paying is going some where. They really dropped the ball on the original wolf. I don't see why they created such a crappy body for him. They would have been better of just rehashing the p1 body on to him. I gave my wolf a p1 body, and it really gives him new life IMO.

I'm thinking about selling him b/c I'm almost certain they will be re-making him and I have no interest in owning two versions, and I should probably sell him now while I could still possibly make my money back.

Yeah even though the McF Queen is not as screen accurate as Revoltech it was still a decent figure.

We all know NECA can do good sculpts so if they do one with good accuracy and in say 1:12 scale then it well be a big seller.

Not only would it be hard to make such a large figure, but this is the queen. Nine foot long head with TINY little legs and feet..four arms, the tail.. It would need a ton of support.

A 15" queen would probably work well on a shelf all by itself.

But with other previously released Aliens and Predators.....she may not look as majestic. :D

The scale obsessed on here will want her in 1:6 which means 30"! :lol
That wont happen for sure, only 1:6 queen made was the Sky W kit from HK that was just the 1:12 kit scaled up.

I could see HT making a Queen in a lower scale I guess..but definitely not anytime soon..would be awesome though.

I sold my P1 today.....

I hope the next 1/6 P1 doesn't take too long or I'll have to buy the 1/4 version if it comes earlier..

I have the 1:3 Cinemaquette and used to have the 1:4 SS maquette (a masterpiece I should have never sold, of well). From here on out I'm going to stick with 1:6 Predators as 1:4 take up too much space. I didn't collect the earlier HTs due to the bobblehead look, but have picked up Classic and Berserker which look fantastic and correctly proportioned, and am ordering the Tracker and Falconer. I'm hoping instead of going back and redoing everything, HT expands the line.
Personally I'd like to see:
> A new Dutch (with a shorter neck) and battle damaged variant
> Mac (with open mouthed second head--love when he's shooting off the mini)
> Blaine (battle damaged exploded chest variant)
> Dillon (with severed arm variant).
> Isabelle (with sniper rifle)
> Female predator (could be a cool concept piece)
> And maybe a couple of conceptual Preds if they make sense as well as an elder Predator on throne

As far as the Aliens are concerned, may get one 1:4, but everything else will be 1:6. -- Queen, Dog, Marines, Ripley. Was never a fan of the baby Alien in Alien3 or Predalien although a 1:6 might not be bad

I hope they do Isabelle !!

She is the only human character from Predators that I would like to have as an action figure.

And I would like to have the whole Dutch team from Predator but I don't think that would ever happen.

That DOES look awesome. Think you can post some more pics or maybe PM me some pics? Does the body make Wolf look shorter?
