This really only leaves PERS.

Careful there, goose. You're venturing into Wolf LSF pricing territory with that one.

At least after using that feature you won't have to worry about leaking batteries .
A DX would be useless. I was thinking about the notion of having a Predator DX a while back and realized there's no need for such a thing. Nearly every accessory we could ever want with a Predator is included, so that takes care of that. We get diorama bases with the most iconic ones (and we're even more likely to get those now that they're doing remakes), so you can check that off.
This really only leaves PERS, which isn't completely necessary and would be a pain to implement amidst the rubber dreads and removable mandible parts. The whole head would come apart upon taking off one little piece.

I don't think we need moving eyes on a Predator figure so no need for DX. Its not something that I ever recall being a distinguishing thing about them, them moving their eyes side to side, up and down etc
Pretty sure DX does mean PERS, its the one thing thats been common to and exclusive to all DX figures.
^ Yep, no point in it. Worthless and will just add to the price. Like the LED crap.
From how I described a DX to be, a Wolf predator would be a great candidate. Just saying.
I've had my Mr. Black figure for almost a year and a half and have still not unpacked the batteries. It's a pointless feature. You have to bend over just to see the light in the bio, and it doesn't look like three red dots anyway. Doesn't shine across the room, just wastes time and money..It's great for the life-size bios though. But even then, they don't shine across the room. All the batteries are out of my predator figures.
They were great for the pictures, but I haven't really found much use for them other than that.
Also, for anyone else paying attention, I found corrosion on a couple of the batteries and NOT from the same battery compartment, but from two different figures. Your mileage may vary of course.
But even then, they don't shine across the room.
I hear ya' bud. If indeed a DX didn't have to include PERS then a fully kitted out Wolf Predator would be sweet.
In my opinion, they're rather gimmicky, which is why I use them solely for picture taking.I've had my Mr. Black figure for almost a year and a half and have still not unpacked the batteries. That's all I'm saying.
Things that come to mind: a screaming Willie head; the inside of his ship as a background; the top of the building as a base; a bathroom sink (LOL!)...
There was one member here (come to think of it) who was running an experiment to see how long the batteries would last. He was using the Berserker predator too. He says he would keep them on 24/7.
I'm sure he holds the record for most use of the LED function.
I can't remember who, but I'm pretty sure it's in the Berserker thread.Who was doing that?
... because I decided months ago I'd do my best to snag all of them (at least all of the 1/4's).
