Hot Toys Predator, Predator 2, Predators, AvP, AvP:R 1/6 + 1/4 scale announcement

So now the question is will this be 12-15 months out like the City Hunter turned out being or is this further along in development and with the mass of Avengers & Batman figs wrapping up will 2013 be the year of the Predator? With the armor, weapons and body being so similar they could really spit out a lot of these in addition to the main trio. Should be interesting!

I'm finding it hard to get excited over this.
Chances are these will not be much more accurate than the originals and will have less articulation to boot...
I'm pretty happy with the old ones, I doubt I'll get the 2.0 versions.

NOW we an AVP teaser for 1:6 scale. Do I have have to wait one more year for Preorders to open? Ridiculous. Hot Toys should announce their stuff when they are ready to, like enterbay. Not tease us for a year only to give us another teaser.

We got a P2 teaser shortly after this announcement, then we got full specs and pics a few months later and P2 Is due out within the next 3-4 weeks. Its not like this is the first we have heard

Its probably going to plummet to less than this will Retail for. I dont think there will be any benefit of the original over this one other than double jointed elbows and knees. But i dont think that will be enough of a reason to spend $500 over a newer updated $150-$200 figure

(im leaving out the articulated fingers and dreads, i saw little to no benefit to them. I think i only ever made the dreads look good in action once)

Because they're in this to make money.
They'll get us to double-dip on these figures every chance they get.

It's for this reason they're re-visiting the AVP line in the first place. So much for the 1st versions of these figures being "limited edition".

I'd maybe be interested in a v2 Wolf, would go nicely between my Tracker and converted classic.

I don't think we will ever get true scaled preds.

Ian Whyte, who played Scar, stands at 85" tall. Just assuming the predator costume adds another 4-5", we should be looking at a 1/6 Scar to be at the 15" mark. We'll have to wait and see.
