I enjoyed him in the film but a figure release of him? WTF!?

I hope HT is going to do more for the Predator line in 2013 and I'm looking forward to a
1/4 Jungle Hunter, 1/4 City Hunter, 1/6 or 1/4 P2 Elder, 1/6 or 1/4 Scar and most important a 1/6 Hippie (Shaman) Predator.

YES!!!! 1/6 Hippie for the win. My favorite of the Lost Tribe. But I also want Ram... These two have the most unique looks.

Yes that's the problem! The should announce a 1/4 figure once in a year, than it would be alright and better for you're wallet. 1/4 Predators naah not for me I just don't like the Super Preds.

^ Exactly. 1/4 is the way forward..although this scale comes at the cost of having less characters. Celtic or Scar, Elder, Berserker and Wolf would do me. Shame there's been no Alien announcements. I'm hoping the 1/4 AvP Preds come with Alien-themed bases...

Agreed about the bases. I wouldn't want the bases to be snow or ice themed like how SSC did with their Scar statue.

Because 1/4 allows more detail than 1/6, if it's done right. We know that Tsang messed up some headsculpts because they haven't been pretty inaccurate. I believe he could do it better with a 1/4 figure.

We don't. I guess we are just expecting bigger versions (whatever scale they may be) of what we already have.

Why not? 1/4 figures are often better in detail and we haven't even seen a prototype of a 1/4 Pred from HT so far.

I think it's common knowlege that Preds are filler products (unless a new Predator film comes out). There's so many great current licenses out at the moment that this line was bound to be forgotten.

Right! HT is working most of the time on their most commercial licenses like Avengers for example and this makes sense for their business, but it should stop when they release a figure like Phil Culsion. I enjoyed him in the film but that's all! As a figure he makes not much sense.

Yes that's the main issue with HT's Predator line and It's still a little stupid that they haven't announced any other Lost Hunter from Predator 2 so far.

More detailing, improved accuracy, and more metal parts are what Hot Toys claims were in making figures in 1/4.

I'm all for it, although the price might be a shock.

Improved accuracy has yet to be shown with the QS batman, so I wouldn't get my hopes up with the Preds.

For now, it seems all we're getting are the statues from SideShow with their questionable paint/poses.
