You could argue the same about the lesser known predators too, outside a die hard batman fan who is buying such a niche Joker. There are TONS of better choices they could have made(especially for a DX) and like I said, probably not a Machiko, can be any new figure to the lineup

Birthday coming up and not sure If I should either get a Celtic which is on auction ATM or a Wolf Bio Helmet from SS, which is selling for $500. Which would you get and which do you think is a bigger steal?

If you are talking about the SS 1:1 wolf bio for $500... I would get that. They don't pop up to often and when they do its usually for more than $500. I think you will have more chances down the road to get Celtic. I see them pop up on eBay more often then the wolf bio. Both are amazing pieces though.

By the way, are you ever gonna do a YouTube review on the ancient predator. I thought I remember you getting one around the same time I got mine.

I have also started collecting the new 1/5 predator and alien statues SS has released so I have been in the statue forum more that the figure forum lately.
Let us know if you end up getting that Celtic or wolf bio.

Yea that's how it was for me.. I hadn't gotten any new pieces for a long time but then I saw the 1/5 predator statue line and decided to start getting them because its a fairly small line and they look so cool.

Please don't get me wrong..
But the 1/5 predator statue series are not worth to collect,
Poor sculpt, poor paint job and also awkward pose

Believe me .. I bought all of it even though i received 2 pcs already (classic & P2 elder) and another 2 pcs (wolf & scar) still on the way..

The P2 elder has a big foot (out of scale), poor paint job and the magnet in his right hand is not fit properly.
The classic has a awkward pose, poor paint job (flat)

I really tried to fall in love with the 1/5 Sideshow Predator Statues but those poses really put me off. They are all really weird.
