I'm tempted by this version, but I'm gonna hold out for the OT version with removable dome and Kenny Baker figure :wink1:

I must be the only collector on earth who doesn't have a major issue with the stock gown. But I think it's fine. The stock Solo sculpt I could not abide, though.

The stock gown on Leia could be much better, but it's not atrocious enough for me to think it's an eyesore. The stock Solo sculpt I actually think is better than the stock Leia gown.

Here are a couple more pics. Really glad to finally have an R2. 3PO is the only glaring omission in my star wars collection.

So last night I went to click on the remote to hear some of the sounds....and nothing. Lights come on on R2, but no sounds. The light comes on on the remote when pressing, but nothing. Wonder if the batteries are already becoming weak from the switch being left to the on position on both the remote and the R2 ?

You have to point the end of the remote at his main "eye". I had the same problem.

It's kind of finicky on reading the remote.

Ok. Was just saying because I thought mine was broken, until I got at just the right spot and it worked.

Thanks for the info, was appreciated. I will play around with it tonight. I thought that maybe because I left the "on" buttons on that the batteries might of been dying already or something.

Nice! :rock

The Jumbo Secret Wars (I keep wanting to say "SW" but that abbreviation is obviously taken, lol) Captain America from Gentle Giant has been on my radar for a while now.

I pointed it to just about everywhere, from close, from far, under, over, :lol

Well I think I got my answer. Just got home to test it and now not even the lights are coming on. I think the batteries are already dead! Just got it last week :lol

I've got the large Wolverine for Christmas a couple years back. He was one of my very favorite toys as a kid. And I vividly remember getting some Secret Wars toys at Christmas as a kid. In particular, the 3 pack with black Spidey, Daredevil, and Cap. Though there was heavy parts re-use, those figures had such a cool, Zeck-like aesthetic.
