These batteries are a pretty penny, folks. HT is buying junk batteries and I am sure hey are losing their power before you get them.

Did you leave the switch ON? This happened to me and it was because batteries were enough to power lights, but not sound. I bought new batteries and all is well.

Now i only turn it on when I want to show it to someone or enjoy myself.
I accidentally left the Switch on in the dome for a couple of hours but the light were off. I left the remote turned off. I would hate to half to buy new batteries on something I won't use very much in the first place. I would only switch it on to show it off, but I want it to work when I do.

Yeah, mine worked fine when I first bought it, but i left all the switches on/lights off. But the next morning only the batteries worked and an occasional sound and blurp, but it was because the batteries drained. They used cheap batteries.

Basically, we just have to turn it on and off to use it.

Ok, I guess I'll try some new batteries then. I've already filed a replacement form with SSC, but I haven't heard anything from them yet.

Yup, same here...

Here’s my buddy’s Artoo and Yoda with a custom shelf space provided by yours truly.

Those like me struggling with the remote and the sound, I think I figured out the trick.

On the left side of it, by the s there is a little square, pointer area thingamajobber.

You need to point that side at him while you push the button

Yes, at his dark glass eye. Plus you need to be smart about managing battery life.

HT should be held responsible for user error.

It’s some kind of modeling dirt. I sprayed glue on a thin piece of plastic that I use to cover my shelves. Then I sprinkled the dirt and some modeling moss. Then I sprayed more glue over the top of it.

That looks really, really good. Just missing a proper training Luke with Yoda bag and some levitating rocks.

A finer and brighter sand would be a great tatooine set up too. This particular set up would be great for the jawas capturing artoo as well. If you could post a step by step with pics, I'm sure more than a few people would copy your idea. Come to think of it, this evironment is useful for a lot of star wars scenery, I'm pretty sure a hoth setup would be something similar. It looks great!
