That's the plan unless she gets pushed back. I have no problem if HT delays her to re-tool the sculpt and make it more accurate.

The current Jill sculpt kinda reminds me of how she looked in some high quality 3D renderings of her from RE3.

Jill from the game looks pretty hideous to me, I think this sculpt is more attractive.

Of course, evidently HT noticed this as well and decided to 'fix' her face. :wink1:

Y'know you're right, especially the lips and the pointy chin. Perhaps there was some intention built in there?

Finally got my PO in at Alterego. She's shipping in September right?

Maybe.. :dunno

The figure SPECS says Q3, (July August, Sept) but I,ve seen in some places that Jill Valantine is scheduled for the End of September.... same thing for Black Widow, (Release date: end Q3 – early Q4 2010) However, she is already in Stock...:panic:

Perhaps, Jill will be released at the end of August (HK), early September or even could have been delayed and pushed back to the Q4, because of the "priority" of some releases initially scheduled later... Who knows..:dunno: ¿¿???

Hopefully if she gets pushed back it's because HT is correcting the sculpt.

Unfortunately, I am not quite sure about that, Darth_Fatso ... but If they finally pushed back the release, and HT do,nt improve her headsculp... then, I can get really mad :gah::gah::gah::devil

Well I definatley aint holding my breath but if they do improve the headsculpt I will run out in the middle of the street buck naked and praise HT to the heavens.

My oppinion, is that HT is underestimating and giving little consideration to the Videogames Masterpiece series, specially the RE line, and that is why I sincerely doubt about an improvement on Jill,s headsculp...:monkey2

Their Movie masterpiece line has total "priority", attention and care... but the RE5 line.. Well, you must already know, what I,m talking about ..:lol

Anyways, I hope I'm wrong, and they finally give to us the great headsculp that jill Valantine Deserves (and the sculp we also deserve, of course)

Edit: For me RE5 Jill Valantine and the predators (Berserker, Falconer... Tracker??) from new predators movie are the most anticipated figures of this year...So Im very excited about her release.. and can,t wait anymore :impatient:

Same here Berserker, Jill and Falconer are my most anticipated figures atm (in that order).

But yeah the only RE character so far that I think they gave the most attention to is Wesker. Chris has a good sculpt overall too, not as good as Wesker's but more than acceptable. Sheva her sculpt on the proto in the official pics looke good but the actuall figure was pretty dissapointing. Ezio though looks pretty detailed though so hopefully with future VG figures, HT will give them some more attention.

Not Impressive! :nono

Doesn't look like Jill at all not even close. HT has done a pretty bad job on her :banghead

If the final product come out like this it will be the bad HT figure ever made.

Thing to improve on: Bigger/more muscular arms, trousers sits lower, slightly smaller head .... sculpted pouches instead of fabric, might as well a working zipper.

Looks like Jill also suffers from saggy tits like Black Widow, though no suprise since they most likely share the same body.

I think even if all HT did was shorten her face a tad, make her nose a little shorter and wider and lips fuller, the likeness would be much more acceptable. Could someone potoshop the pic above?

I know it's just the lighting and pose, but that new TH pic actually looks like a different HS. Still looking forward to this fig.
