Hot Toys RoboCop Project 2012

I will buy this, Cain? Probably not. I just want ROBOCOP figures. Hope old Robo is from Robocop 1, with a Peter Weller likeness. I know I'm dreaming but Clarence Bodiker would be great too. This also give me hope for some more 80s goodness with a 1984 Kyle Reese and Police Shoot Out Terminator.

Ha yeah, just like me. If HT release a version like there Iron Man VI with swappable plates to change from clean to battle damage, then I'll be buying two of these & I never buy multiables but I've always loved the Robocop design. This is an absolute must have for me

So far my favorite figures that I currently own have been MMS, not DX. That may change with the '89 Batman and Joker but I still think PERS is a lame gimmick that ruins and otherwise perfect figure.

For Robocop, it just wouldn't make sense. Knowing Hot Toys though, they'd probably have Murphy underneath a removable helmet that would have PERS and then another, BD helmet with the one eye exposed, just so they could make it a DX.

I would prefer it to be a MMS, a Dx would be pointless for a Robocop figure IMO, just like an Iron Man figure would be & besides other than the PERS it'll only probably come in a fancier box & a higher price tag.

Pretty much. I'm not really a fan of the DX lineup since for the most part it just seems to inflate the price with stuff you might use once or twice and then keep stuffed up in the box for the rest of eternity. I wish they just released add on expansions that were optional. For example, do I really have to buy two Luke Skywalker figures if I am only interested in one? Really?

A DX that included cop uniform Murphy as well as Robocop would be pretty sweet if they really nailed the Weller likeness. At least in my opinion anyhow.

I´m literally aching for a Robo and I don´t give a damn, whether it´s a DX, or MMS.

I NEVER had ANY figure from Robocop.

I watched Robocop 3 last night. Cheesy as ___k and with a crap 'robo' villain but am I mad in thinking it may possibly be better than 2?
