I hope its soon!
That's the problem, some say yes and some say no. Hot Toys should be better organized and less inclined to mislead this way. Truth is none of us know anything except they showed the darn thing in such a way to as to scream impending release.
Yep, it had all sorts of accessories, extra hands, etc. when they showed it. Why would they include all the extra stuff if they had no intention of releasing it?
I never thought I'd be advocating for this, but, at this point, I'd say everyone should just go about their business and not worry about it. It'll happen, eventually, just as the Arkham Joker did, so, yeah. Hopefully sooner than later, but, as weird as HT is with this ****, I wouldn't be bothered by it.

To be honest - I'm actually hoping they drag this figure out, as there are a few HT figures I want coming out soon, but I really want this figure too, so need the time to put the money aside!
Well they have retailers who purchase from Sideshow. Forbidden Planet New York and other comic shops, formerly Hastings. And Diamond Select (an arm of Diamond Distributors) attends ToyFair. The latter are similar to Sideshow in that they distribute out to comic shops and the like, though they also edge their way into more common brick and mortar outlets like Toys R Us. So, it seems to me it is more a strategic decision not to spend too many resources and energy spreading themselves too thin than anything else (they get a lot more attention focusing on SDCC). But this is just speculation on my part. They are never at TF.
Toy Fair is a trade convention for manufacturers to secure and present product to retailers. HTs has no US retailers.

Well they're already mass produced. Speculation is that tens of thousands of figures are typically made nowadays. Personally, I wouldn't care how many were made if the quality remained constant, particularly if it meant a drop in price due to economies of scale, but others would be horrified at the prospect of even more being produced, I'm sure.
