Thanks for the pics! What is the throne made of - plastic, resin? What batteries does it use and what lights does it have? How's the robe on the Emperor, since it seems it needs futzing.

I think if you flatten him out a little in the chair (in that picture look at the gap between the top of his head and the top of the chair) and futz the robes a little, you'll be all good.

He's often borderline horizontal in the chair in Jedi.

I re-adjusted him. Now he’s slouching like a guy I used to buy weed from in the 80’s ...

Again, it’s going to have to go through a lot of futzing, but I bet when people look back on this thread two months from now, people will be adjusting and dremeling that base peg to some extent ...

Regardless of all of that, and I hate spending so much time talking about it, I think it looks pretty amazing

I can’t believe that from the instruction manual, I found the pose that I will most likely keep him in. And if you could have him in this pose in front of the Throne, maybe no need to adjust the Throne height ...

I don't have it in hands but, looking at original Toys TV review (in chinese), the way they handle it (and the sound as well) make it look very light. 99,999% sure it is plastic.

FF to 14:00 for the throne.

Someone smarter than me will have to figure out the exact amount that needs to be dremel’ed off of the base stand peg thingy ...

Should be as simple as measure the distance from the bottom of his foot to a flat surface that everything is sitting on, then take that distance and shave it off of the peg, but isn’t it strange how sometimes these things don’t work out as expected.

The limiting factor is going to be the difference in dimension between the base pin height and the throne hole depth.

If you cut off more than this dimension the throne is going to bottom out on the base plate.

If you compare this dimension to the gap between his feet and the table you'll be able to see if that method would work effectively or not.
