Just had the Emperor arrive. Can’t decide if to have him with his force lightening or sitting..got the Royal guards arriving soon too.

Welp not gonna get him for a while. Got emails from SS saying he would ship on the 16th but he still hasn't (got billed that date tho) which means no one will be at the remote adress Im at for the holidays to sign for him since I go back home after Thanksgiving 3 states away. Was supposed to be here by the 24th at the latest if shipped when told.

And UPS wont let me change delivery adress until after a failed delivery attempt plus SS is charged over $30 by UPS to redirect it (mind it has not even left their lot yet) that they pass on to me effectively making it over $50 shipped to a US adress.

Considering just letting it bounce back and return it and pick him up somewhere else eventually.

Only solution would be holding it at a local UPS location and picking it up when you return if you are open to that.

Thank you. I find the key to a natural looking seated pose is to focus on posture. With Loki, I have him slouching off to the side and clearly putting more weight on his right side, while his left arm rests comfortably on the armrest. I crunched his abs and lined up his legs in a comfortable position. I imagined it was Tom Hiddleston getting into character. It’s the little nuances that sell it.
I plan to do the same with Palpatine, and I’ll post pics here when I do. I’m slightly concerned that his robe will hide the details. So I’ll have to work at futzing the material to appear as though it’s draping in a weighty manner.

I had my own UPS issues today -- including the guy at CS telling me that it is "100% guaranteed at the UPS station ready for pick up" while I was telling him that the UPS truck actually dropped it off while he was making that promise to me -- anyway...

Nice figure. I can't imagine how light he would seem without that chair. Not much to him otherwise.


So, just to confirm: even though the instruction say that the batteries are included, this throne does NOT come with the two AAA batteries, right? If it does, where the hell are they?
