I still think there's hope for 2, maybe the second is exclusive to the throne + figure set, but a 2nd has been made at some point, you can tell this isn't an open mouth sculpt used here.

It would be nice but wishful thinking. Same with the ROTS Anakin. I was very pleasantly surprised that Yoda came with the terrific alternate closed eye sculpt.

Actually that's a good point about Yoda & 2 headsculpts. Although Yoda was small he did have a pretty complex base with the tree parts, stones and lamp etc. Also probably a custom body and hands/feet etc.

Emperor body could use almost any existing body (ok not BvS Batman). Robes etc are pretty basic. Throne equates to a complex stand.

Maybe there is a good chance for 2 headsculpts.

It wouldn’t be a first, Age of Ultron Hulk came with a second head only in the deluxe set.

Sounds good to me! Like someone mentioned before I really wished they would do a 3-pack with two Royal Guards and that way maybe get an extra head sculpt plus a little bit better pricing per figure although I'm sure it wouldn't be much.

Yes, this is probably the best (highest res) video I've seen of him. Good find !

He does look better even in that disputedly poor (from below) lighting from Tokyo Con.

P.s Didn't know he wore brown cowboy boots under the robes though

I must admit I can’t wait to see the pre order pictures of him- I’m sure he will look great under heavily contrasted lighting like in ROTJ. Still definitely getting him.

I would just upgrade the sideshow emperor with the outfit. I`m perfectly happy with the custom job I done on the ss emperor. I agree with a lot of people saying the sculpt looks terrible I guess some are desperate to have one as they missed out on the ss version I guess they will take it as is.

Really? It looks terrible.

I agree it's not great... Skin tone is totally off and the Ed Harris comparison still stands, but it's still a decent representation of a key character so hard not to want to add to the collection...

Hoping it improves or I'll stick with the original Sideshow release for now. The video isn't terribly endearing for the Tarkin either which is a concern but the Adam Driver likeness looks fantastic.
