Looking at that photo Anakin has such a good likeness compared to emperor Ed Harris. I really want to like this figure but I just can't, OT emperor could be such an iconic figure if they nailed the face.

Now if that happens there will be some pretty loud cheering ! However I'd put the chances pretty low, considering there is the throne as well. But his outfit is pretty basic ??? Maybe, just maybe a chance...

Just hope he is one of the first releases of 2018.

Unless they scrapped it or were using the Sideshow head, one of the Jedi Luke images with the Emperor in it shows a clearly closed mouth.

Yeah really hope we get the closed mouth sculpt too. Be nice to have a choice which to display especially since the grinning sculpt leaves something to be desired

Considering this figure still hasn't technically been announced yet, still plenty of hope that the sculpt gets reworked since there's been a lot of negative feedback concerning it.

Yeah, they can tweak the sculpt, I think they realize this can be a massive hit or lingering also ran if the sculpt isn't improved and they have tweaked several sculpts before final PO pics and some after (Ripley e.g.) so there is still hope.

Noticed the chair has 4 square button lights on the right side, 2 orange lights and 2 smaller red lights, at least on the right side of it. Hope they get that right too.,
