Woah. Better be quick to preorder those who haven't yet. This is going to be expensive in a year or so.
Tempted to PO a second one just for resale.
The HT promo pic of Palpatine on the light up chair, with a guard flanking him left and right : I had to preorder a st to have that display .

The RPs are better put to use on something that isn't available so much cheaper (and without tax!)
That's usually Sideshow product which isn't sold in Hong Kong.
I don't buy Sideshow 1/6th, so that's no longer an option for me.

Sideshow would love you to use your RP's on their products. The income loss is less & they probably write it off as a promotional loss. On HT products they are still purchasing them rather than just covering their own manufacturing costs...
I also prefer to use RP's on products I can't find cheaper elsewhere as to make getting it so cheap more pleasant...
I have $238 and can't decide on what to get. I want Anakin, ESB Vader (already have ANH & SS deluxe so may just wait for the HT ROTJ version), DX ESB Fett (I have SS), Emperor or a Royal Guard.... Too much as I want them all but don't have space or want to spend that much right now... I only have HT Jedi Luke on PO which I used $60 in RP's.

My original plan years ago was to get the Snowspeeder Luke with RPs... but that sold out before release, and then I ended up with even more points over another Spook and Xmas. The only other 'big' item cost-wise was always going to be the Emperor with throne chair, so I decide that's where I'd blow my points when it finally appeared. Given I have the old Sideshow Emperor, parting with actual money to upgrade to HT's Emperor would have been much harder to do.
The only other big item I'd blow my rewards on would be the inevitable Jabba the Hutt from HT... but we're still another year from that I think and ultimately I have no problem spending money on that item.

I have that $50 International Code from Dengar and Zuckuss to use as well.
If I don't use it before the Snowtrooper Commander charges on 16th February the $25 from him will be absorbed into the $50, but extends the $50 by another month.
I might use it on a second Royal Guard as the price would be about the same as from Hong Kong after earning RPs. But I'm not sure I want two. I like to have one example of a figure, unless it's a figure that has multiple looks as with Jyn Erso.

I paid for the Emperor completely in rewards -- no NRD for me -- and I still have points left over. Still no escape from Sideshow.
