If I had the budget they would be - otherwise that's a shelf full of secondary characters except for Yoda and the Royal Guard (because he's just so damn cool and the colour will pop like nothing else).

Yeah, my new display will be black background with decent lighting. That Imperial Guard will look awesome.

He was never really on my wish list, but definitely on it now ! Defines Star Wars really. A couple of seconds of screen time, very simple design but mega cool somehow !

Totally agree, but not for 200 quid. Not for me anyway, unless they're amazing. But we all collect in different ways

Yeah, that's what I'm a little worried about with the Imperial Guard. Although Hot Toys have been quite reasonable with their pricing actually.

Just hope I don't have to eat my words when they finally release the pricing for this guy !

This is a $189 figure at best, he's all cloth with a helmet and a staff. However, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they charged a little over $200 for him.

I'm thinking they'll go $219.99 USD or $229.99 USD but knowing HT, they'll prove me wrong and go $249.99 USD for the tailored, single piece of cloth

My guess is $205. Seems to be about the going price for Troopers, which essentially these are just another variation on.

would love it to be same price as the troopers but i do think he will have fully armored bod under that robe so trooper price plus the soft goods will drive it up... i think unfortunately.

have not seen the battlefront weapons will have a look but have read that darkhorse comic bout the royal guards and enjoyed way back, showed the armor under robe. was unique and wonder if HT will do same?

They may do a standard and deluxe like the Snowtrooper. Deluxe could be the Battlefront version with extra T-21 blaster, smart rocket and homing rifle.
