I'll get this guy eventually, but I'd be more excited about him in general if there were two additional different ones to look at right now.

Yeah I feel the same. Any Trooper is better with at least one other to make a pair. Ideally I'd like to have a few regular Stormies (only have one so far) and probably a couple Sandtroopers. I probably won't get more than one of the Scout or Snow Troopers though and other more random or offscreen variants like the Shadow or Space Troopers I'll only get one of each too. I'll have to see how many I want from The Force Awakens. Probably the Chrome Trooper for sure and at least one New Republic Trooper.

Troopers do look great together. I have 2 Stormtroopers, 2 scouts coming and since I assume HT is making more variants I will end up with atleast 4 Sandtroopers. The more the merrier.

I assume HT will make another version of the Sandie at least, but then as an Ex.

I want to make an diorama with the Dewback and Tauntaun. So there i will get a pair of each troopers, but getting sets of each and single variants, now thats a lotta money. Need something for other statues/figures also.

Indeed it does. I picked-up the Stormtrooper two-pack and two Spacetroopers and now the Sandie's tempting me. Kinda like the idea of having three distinct Sandtroopers on display to represent Mos Eisley. Glad I at least cancelled my Scout Troopers and bike, though. Guess it means I have some restraint left. *hangs head*

Yeah, but my point is that you seem to be on the fence about the Sandtrooper. If you're going to get them all, then go for it, but if not, Sandtroopers are the way to go. If you need one of those Spacetrooper guns, you can pick one up loose later.

Yeah, it's mostly a numbers thing and the fact that since being a kid I've always preferred the gleamimg DS Stormtroopers over Sandtroopers. I still really like the Sandies but am debating how many troops I really want on display. That'd be 9 between Stormtroopers, Snowtroopers and Sandtroopers, if I bought 3. Seems excessive.

I'm the opposite, love the dirty Sandtroopers.

I'm currently planning on 2 Stormtroopers, 4 Sandtroopers, 2 Snowtroopers and 2 Scouts.

That Spacetrooper gun is cool but with everything else coming that one will most likely have to be cut.

A squad of Sandtroopers seems about right, the problem is I already have that.

I do have a Medi and an SSC in the squad though so I still have a window for at least two HT Sandy's.

Spacetrooper is a must too. I would rather have space/sand/ESB/ROTJ-troopers than almost any Luke I think, if it would come to that. I have Bespin Luke which is my favorite anyway.

Here I was thinking a Sandtrooper and Space trooper were too many ! But you're right. A couple of Sandtroopers together do look good. I almost pulled the trigger on the Kyoboto 2 pack last year. Glad I didn't. Going to do it 1/6 style I think !

No one knows. When the other 2 HT Sandies will be announced, this will be VERY sought after.
