I've muted my defense of TLJ lately because I've been relentlessly attacked

And here I thought it was because you fell off your preachy soapbox.

Meh. So tired of every thread turning into "TLJ/Rian/ST/JJ/etc is satan and needs to die" lol.

I don't think TLJ was perfect, but it's nowhere near the "abomination" everyone makes it out to be. The B-plot with Finn/Poe/Rose wasn't very exciting to most (including myself), but the Kylo/Rey/Luke stuff was top notch IMO. It's pretty amazing how many people consider the most interesting aspect of the ST now to be the Kylo/Rey storyline (and some of those people don't care for the ST as a whole) - and that was all Rian. JJ set them up as separate characters that weren't really intermingled and didn't really have a strong dynamic after the first film, and TLJ did a lot for the two characters.

ANYWAY..... Was hoping to see prototypes of the new Kylo and Rey figs, and perhaps some KoR. Very eager to see what a new Rey sculpt looks like. I think that might be saved for NYCC though, I can't remember if that's when the TLJ figs were shown in 2017??

The Bespin 2.0 is pretty interesting but so far just looks like a new head on the old DX07. Hoping they update the actual bodysuit/belt/boots. Would love to see Enfys Nest too from Solo but prolly won't happen. And of course, always in for more clones...

My top wants as far as reveals go are Bespin Han, new Kylo, new Rey, some KoR (hopefully "the rogue" and "the monk"), Phase 2 Rex, and Enfys Nest.

It's a damn movie. No 'defending' should be needed. But, we live in the era of the super-fragile. Everything offends everyone! But, yeah, I really dislike TLJ, but mostly due to Luke, and their handling of him. I initally dug it, but as the time as gone one, it hasn't sat well with me.

Great review! Figure looks really good, although it does appear it could have used some weathering to give it some extra realism and make it look a bit less toy-like.

You might have noticed me saying, "It's definitely red." That was me saying exactly what you just said.

Having said that, though, it's definitely in line with the cleanness of the Praetorians, or even the iTroopers from TFA. The First Order is comprised of a bunch of tyrannical, thin-skinned, controlling ****s. It's easy to imagine their leadership/middle management being the sort that would find "weathering" unacceptable.

I feel like I've said my piece and don't need to substantively engage further. I just chime in occasionally to show moral support to others. Otherwise, I try to stick to talking about the figures.
