Yep. That's the best way to go in I reckon. There is always going to be a small underlying feeling of "please be good" cause it's Star Wars.

But either way, good or bad I'm sure I'll be more in the Mandalorian camp by that stage anyway.

Which makes me think. Disney has again made it potentially hard for themselves putting two things close to each other.

Of course there is the potential effect of one boosting the other. But the opposite can also occur.

On the up side, if the TV shows kick #ss and TRoS sucks. Then we can all just forget about the Sequel Saga.

Everyone will still go and see the movie anyway so it'll be a "Box Office Success", Disney will get their money and we'll all move on a year later after a new wave of fan outrage videos. Hopefully just in time for The Cassian show or season 2 of the Mandalorian [emoji23]

I really love the MCU but it pales in comparisson to Star Wars.

Having said that every single Marvel film is better than TLJ.

Infact every film I have ever seen is better than TLJ. That movie was just insulting.

Given the source material the ST had to start with, it is flabbergasting how poor it is.

I’m glad I’m not the only one to feel this way. I have a pretty big trooper collection so may cave on this one even if I don’t plan on seeing the movie

I don’t know why they chose red. Maybe they are the guards for someone? I rather it is something not white, black nor red.

Rumors/leaks suggesting they serve Palps in some way, First Order is split between those loyal to First Order/Hux and those to Kylo/Knights of Ren and they battle it out. Guessing they'll serve Palp once he comes back.

I like the design. Will wait and see how they are used but the red is a nice contrast to the white. Loved Royal Guards. Think Praetorians are kinda neat. I'm a sucker for red I guess.
I'm trying to go in with an open mind to this film. The least I have speculated for any SW movie coming out. I'm excited to see the conclusion and I hope it's satisfactory but I'm not ever going to make up what I want to happen again. So seeing the designs I'm strictly looking at them from a design perspective. And I like them.

My guess is that these are Kylo's personal guards/troopers, and he is personally patterning them after Palpatine and Snoke's guards.

Everything he does is him trying to emulate someone more powerful. His insecurity is part of his character.

Yes, and that’s what makes him so interesting. He wants to be a sith though he’ll never be. This is my guess too.

I don't know if you are half blind or just wanted to make a stupid post. This figure is a lot different than the regular find order troopers. Just a quick glance shows helmet and body panels have enough difference from the first order troopers
I don't know why people like you even bother to come into certain threads. It's like you just wanted to say duck trooper. No one finds that entertaining. The design has been out for many years now so saying duck trooper over and over for several years don't make you cool.
