I thought they were coming out with two different snowies. These guys are the same except for accessories.

They have shown the Commander aswell, I would expect him to be announced soon.

I do like the fabric mask and smaller gloves... but aside from that it's really not much different (to me) from the Sideshow release. I can't say I have a strong desire to own one of these. It's good for people who missed out on the Sideshow one and don't want to pay higher prices, but also good if you want to buy a Sideshow one as the price will likely drop a bit because of this release.

It really is. Tempted to get that, simply for the savings. Sell one when the Commander is released.

That 2 pack price is nice. Really glad you have the option of 2 classic snowtroopers and aren't stuck with one of the battlefront ones. In for a couple 2 packs at least and a commander.

While I like the trooper design, I don't really care for the battlefront version. I am curious about the E11 blaster though, the bar with the scope on it feels a bit high? maybe it's because it doesn't have the counter behind it and you can see through the gap. I don't know, it just bugs me right now. I'll have to check mine later to compare.

Liking what I see here. Seems like the detail on the gloves is much better and the helmet is much better.
I have my 2 SSC still in the box, so I might opt to sell those and get one of the HT.

I may be tempted by the commander. I forgot about that figure. I am definately fine with my Sideshow. I never had a problem with it before

Wow, what a difference! It's funny because the Sideshow snowie always looked pretty good to me. But seeing it next to the HT one brings it to shame!

All along I've been thinking I wanted the commander over the regular. I always liked how clean and crisp he was compared to the weathered trooper. I always liked the smooth face mask best. But some details on the commander like the boots and the lack of backpack make me lean towards the trooper now.

I actually sold my SS Snowtrooper awhile ago, got a good offer for it and I can't say I regret it after these pictures.
