I added a custom pole/crotch grabber to the Deluxe stand, again something that should have come with the set.. View attachment 348058
And for those interested in upgrading the old SS version here's one with the HT cowl and gloves...

How much moding do you have to do to get the cowl and gloves to fit on the SS version??

can you post a shot of the SSC And the HT together? :D
The is not a complete stock SS as i upgraded the body to a true type and replaced the rubber cowl with plastic...View attachment 348194View attachment 348195

The gloves fit perfectly well on the SS pegs but the barbell part of the SS neck joint needs to be swapped out as it's too large to fit the HT helmet socket

was the original SSC body smaller? SSC Snowie profits from being taller... is the HT tall enough?

This is what the Chinese toy reviewers say:

Box is really compact, showing surprise that two figures with accessories fit in the box.
The color of the armor and clothing is off white, deeper in color and different in texture compared to Sideshow.
Sideshow like two piece boot/ankle articulation.
Unrestricted arm articulation, able to use double elbow joints.
Metal Iron Man style flight stand.
No vinyl straps, all cloth items.
No head or face inside the cowl.
Very thin cowl material, while it can wrinkle realistically, it can still be smoothed out.
Very realistic weathering and shading.
Shoulder pads are velcro.
Reuse of Sandtrooper base, but rectangular shape is ideal for display.

Cheers,

BOBBY

While I dont think the ssc trooper looks bad it does suffer a few flaws. Not a fan of the squinty lens/eyes on helmet (it has that "oh, I see what you did there" look) and parts of the armor look a bit boxy and strait lined where is should be more curved/rounded. Scout trooper armor had the same thing going on with it. Saying all that though I would have one on my shelf, but if I had to choose..........hot toys, just looks better........:peace

The HT is a bit on the short side with the body having all new ankle joints..View attachment 348219

Looks like a wooden leg.

Might have to employ these:
