Indeed it does have that thunder thigh look. So the padding does cover the upper legs? I believe the HT Fett has the same thing, but not noticeable like with the trooper. I wouldn't mind removing that leg padding when I get mine, but dont know how much of a pain the arse that would be to undress that area. Or maybe I can just pretend the pants are so thick cause they're wearing 5 pairs of long johns.

From what I've heard, it's based on money spent at Sideshow. There's no official explanation though, the card just says "thank you, here's $50 off anything".

Which Neck post do you need to change to get the HT head on the SSC figure?

The barbell part of the SS neck post is too large for the HT helmet so needs swapping out. As far as i know most HT neck posts will work.. View attachment 348480

The clothing sits much more naturally on the body now. I will have to do this when I finally receive mine.

The pole part is cut from a half inch water pipe(painted white) with a wall plug fitted to secure it to the base.The crouch grabber itself is a spare i had.All pretty crude but it does the job..View attachment 348486

It's funny how so often the additional padding Hot Toys uses ends up causing more issues. At least with the troopers it seems like most people end up removing any additional padding to improve the looks and/or articulation.
