Temptation for a 2nd is strong.

The mask is such a superior improvement over the SS. But even the scale of everything just looks so much better. "Man in a suit" this one is for sure. Only futz required is to remove the "thermals" around his thighs.

If you weren't so excited about Yoda, you will be by this one. THIS is Star Wars.

Thanks! No sun here today so a bit washed out but in hand the creams and tans really balance nicely. The boots are probably the weakest part, seem like they are from another figure. But everything else is unbelievably top notch.

I feel the excitement for this figure unlike Yoda!! Great detailed images. I do agree about the boots the first time I saw them they reminded me of the "wash" used on Droopy McCool!!

WOW! I haven't pulled the trigger on Yoda yet myself. I just see no pleasure in receiving him. But I feel I need him.

Who'd have thought? It's just such a lifeless sculpt.

I know me though -- I'll pick him up if I can get him for $180 or less on ebay. Prices appear to be there just about.

The character didn't do much on screen that was exciting other than levitate things, which is exactly how I have him right now, levitating rocks.

Yep, the boots feel strangely dated. Like something off a Sideshow figure about 5 years ago. Real boots would have been nice. But they really are the last thing you look at so...

Seeing this in hand -- seeing how realistic it is -- reminds me why I collect 1/6th. Gets me excited imagining how excellent HT's Scout Trooper will be one day.

The boots are semi-soft... and have some side-to-side articulation, enough for a parted stance to look natural. The joints are nice and tight on this figure.

The 3 versions available (diluting the edition size of the single ESB) plus army-builders (like canadaclone) are the 2 reasons I decided to jump on this fast.

Just over-sculpted and over-weathered relative to the rest. It's only really noticeable when you focus on just the boots. The difference gets lost when viewing the figure overall.

I doubt that will happen, the overabundance of HT TFA movie merchandise taught both Disney and Hot Toys not to over produce figures, the Rogue One sell outs I think are evidence of this.

Most retailers are already sold out and sideshow is down to singles. Free shipping is not happening unless you consider the coupon free shipping, and best hurry up even with that.
