I think the boots just need a serious repaint, they certainly seem like a afterthought and almost resemble SS snowie boots. I'm curious to how much HT contributed to the development of all of SS figures in the past? I recall on the boxes of my sandies having ht in the credits. Anyways, maybe mine will ship soon to good ole AZ...

The bodies of Sideshow's Clone/Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, and Hobbits were designed and produced by Hot Toys for Sideshow, the rest of those figures were designed by SSC.
Not sure who helped design and produce the SSC Yoda body though, it could be HT, SSC, or Bigshot Toyworks who now help Sideshow design their Darth Malgus, Female, Superhero and Starcraft bodies as well as some of their PF figures. The same company also designs some of the 3A & Threezero figures.

More than a man looks at a woman's face.... :horror

These pics are great, I can't wait to open this guy up. HT hit this one out of the park for sure.

I do have the Sandtrooper, and a reg Stormtrooper and Spacetrooper.

The Sandtrooper has the advantage of that eye-catching orange pauldron. However, as a figure, the Sandtrooper tends to blend in with other regular Stormtroopers... while the hooded Snowtrooper jumps out because he's so distinctive. No OT trooper quite like him.

Thanks for the opinion! FYI I'm on my deck with my wife drinking my 6th beer here in Beautiful Vancouver waiting for tomorrow CANADA day! While enjoying the evening I do have this Snowtrooper in mind!

They were scheduled to arrive Tuesday, but I changed the day to Thursday to be sure I was in.

But they've come in early and are already sitting at the local depot. If I'd left them alone they'd have been delivered Monday. :slap

Delivery is Friday and I leave for vacation for 12 days on Thursday. Any advice?

Are the glass panels just sitting next to each other or are they attached by any mean? If not, there could be an issue with dust invading your display pretty fast.
