Have the experts passed a verdict on the HT Snowtrooper yet?

Is he ESB worthy?

If you cant tell should it bother you? I'm going to be getting this one because I couldn't pick out the differences and I doubt they would bother me.

I don't understand the issue with licensing. HT must have an ESB license because we're getting an ESB Yoda.

Yeah, might have to get one of those cannons now. They sure put it up for order a lot earlier than this HT reveal.

Nothing at all, I enjoy the game a lot. Just speaking for those that are OCD about it and only want cannon OT stuff.

On the surface, no, because it looks like a good figure and seems to represent what I have in mind as a Snowtrooper.

But it's even better if it's accurate to ESB.

Ah ok. It is def a great looking figure. Great for those that don't have a Snowie or those looking to upgrade. I'm very happy with my sideshow...if anything id simply upgrade the helmet

Thanks, brother. I like the Marmits from the side profile....A LOT. I actually cut down the chin on my Marmit yesterday. I am in the process of fixing the cut seam and repainting. But it really is an improvement, IMHO. I'll take photos when complete.

I agree, and the cowl is also more realistic.

I like your custom. I actually found a great template pic for redoing the goggles (pic of real helmet) that I was going to use along with the white plastic to improve the helmet, but I don't love the dome sculpt either. I'll just be casting the HT one now.

Other than the helmet and hands, the SSC snowie is a great figure (with a body swap that is.) I won't be selling mine - will just add the HT cast helmet and probably use the extra set of HT hands.

I got the SSC one for nearly $100 less than the HT one will be, so mine will be upgraded to a "two for the price of one" deal.

Btw has anyone tried to so a body swap on the SS Snowie using a HT Sandtrooper body? Might give it a shot since I have one lying around.

They're really just using BattleFront as an excuse to put out the classic troopers without appearing to step on SSC toes. Scout Trooper is next.

So what other Imperial troopers and characters are in Battlefront? Officers like Tarkin or Veers?

I see they have put the footprints in the snow like the Sandtrooper bases.That's a bit of a shame as it limits the poseability with the base

Yes I changed the hands to some DID Tactical figure gloves, Bleached them and then dyed them and stuck the original hand plates back on. I also changed the body to a TT Narrow shoulder and fixed the head so that there is more of a gap between the start of the neck and the top of the head. Then just adjusted the costume to make it all fit the figure a bit more accurately.

It's the same base painted white....it has the hole in the corner for the patrol droid

Now he's a real Snowtrooper.
