I believe Chainedstream meant to say cowl.

I've always loved these guys. I've been avoiding picking up any Hoth-themed characters (Snowies, AT-AT driver, E-Web, and Probe Droid) to preserve a non-cluttered shelf space with my current figs displayed. Seeing all these pics and reviews i may be spending allot more money this year... and if an ESB Vader comes out whew! :slap

I can account for a few figures having the wobbly base such as the ANH Han and Luke grate stands.

I know you guys are picky but just a little tiny turn from a phillips screwdriver can save you tons of headache waiting for a replacement. Your replacement stands will probably be the same way. sadly.

p.s. I would take my HT bases into the laundry room and set them on the washer- the flattest area in my house, then adjust with the screwdriver..lol worked every time.

HT can make great figures to excellent ones but can't figure out how to make flat bases .... :lol ... :slap

These figures look better displayed in threes anyway. I have two Sideshow troops. Looking forward to seeing how well they pair with each other.
I've never understood getting multiples of the exact same figure (army building). I always thought it just cheapened/made it less special when you have multiples of the same figure. But man oh man, there must be a lot of doctors and lawyers on here lol. Taking a 110% pay cut from my last job to my current one, I can't believe I'm still able to budget and buy collectibles like this on $300 a week. Back when I was single, no kids and living with my parents I could buy anything I wanted without having to sell something. Damn, my wife needs to win the lottery😂

That makes sense. Typically injection moulded plastics suffer from shrinkage. This is increased if the water content in the part or surrounding air is low. (Summer phenomenon sometimes). At an old company we used to soak plastic parts in water to prevent out of tolerance dimensions. Maybe that could work here. Unscrewing the base is not a big deal I've done it before.

But totally understand those wanting a replacement. However as someone mentioned they could all be suffering from this at the moment due to summer weather conditions.

Just got my single from Sideshow - I was content to have my SSC one & this but am starting to regret not buying the two-pack :slap

Yeah, me too. It was that Battlefront branding I tell's ya.

Minus 6c (that's 21.2f for you all those using the silly scale) here this morning so don't think mine are heat affected...

I'm wondering if Lowe's carries the tiny philips heads with long handles. All of my tiny screwdrivers are too short to fit in those holes on the base.

It's more the weather conditions at the place of manufacture, not end location :)

I got a set from my Snap-on dealer. I forget what I paid, but it's worth having quality tools to work on your prized possessions.

I never understood it either, I mean it looks cool, but the space that takes up is crazy.

I almost always buy trooper category figures in groups of at least two or more. Mostly because it bothers me to see one Vader, one Emperor, one Luke, one Han, .....and one stormtrooper for example. I like it to be made visually clear that Troopers were one of many, thus distinguishing them from the singular hero type characters. How many I buy typically depends on how much I like a particular trooper.

Well it is called the Galactic Army for a reason. :lol

The original Stormtrooper was my big weakness. I have 30 ANH/R1 Stormtroopers (24 ANH, 6 R1). Just bought a case of these Snowtroopers and will probably sell off the sideshow versions. Its a dramatic difference from what I am seeing in pictures for the updated look HT made vs the older sideshow versions. I think the Sideshow snowy versions can be salvaged with new heads and hands though but it may be a pain acquiring part outs of this figure as it seems extremely popular for army building.

Dafuq? 31? No wonder i can't find ANH troopers for a decent price. You got them all.

My general collecting focus are Original Trilogy Imperials and special focus are Stormtroopers. Still I only got 3 HT Stormies (2 tall, 1 short) and a Spacetrooper. Instead of buying more of the same I'd rather get something else, like a prop, a life-size helmet etc.

Same here, I only focus on OT pieces for Star Wars. I have several EFX and Master Replica props in the collection. The x-wing and tie fighter models are two of my favorites and the EFX Vader Legend helm is very nice.

You should see how many HokieOne has.

He's my cousin! :lol
