Very good read TaliBane.

And no credit for wobbly bases from Sideshow:

"
Thank you for response. I'm sorry if the previous answer was not satisfactory. Sadly, we cannot offer a credit in this case, as it seems this is how the piece was made by the manufacturer. In cases like this, it is considered to be a normal variation, and we cannot offer a partial credit in cases like that as it is across the line of figures.

Additionally, as this is not an item made by Sideshow Collectibles, but rather Hot Toys, we sadly have no control on how the items were made in order to correct the issue.

That said, I may be able to offer some troubleshooting. Our Returns manager has noticed that is the screws under the base are tightened, it will reduce the amount of wobbling.

I hope this answers your questions. Please provide the pictures at your earliest convenience. Please reply if you need any additional help!"

Looking at the bolded part they do seem to read this forum though :lol

Those of you hoping for better bases:

Thank you for your reply. Please know the base replacement pieces sent to you were the best possible one we had available, and unfortunately we do not have another replacement at this time that would be a considerable difference. After a thorough check of our stock, it appears this is how the bases are. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

If you would like to keep your figures, please keep the better of the bases and destroy the extras, per the instructions you received. Once you have destroyed of the extra piece, please send me the pictures in response to this email.

If you are completely not satisfied with the figure, please let me know and I can set you up with a return for a full refund.

Please let me know how you wish to proceed. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me.

Interesting... I wonder, did you get this after the replacement was sent? I just got a email saying my stand was getting shipped but no mention of anything you wrote. If this is the case and they won't even offer a refund or add points/credit of some sort then I imagine some peeps will be using their CC to dispute the charge.

They offer a full refund on return so a chargeback would not be successful.

I think it would since the product is damaged and they won't fix it, returning the item just for a damaged piece seems really stupid. They should at least offer a credit like in the past, again I'm no expert.
