As soon as I'd decided to get this figure - and, reading back it's hard to believe I wasn't sure I wanted him at first - I planned to display him with the goggles and mask on.
It's such an iconic 'Third World War' look that's been evoked in so much science fiction It's also so fitting for the Star Wars universe which, for all its faster than light travel and artificial gravity, often suggests the world of tomorrow, or yesterday.
Since the arrival of the figure is getting closer I've looked at some video reviews to get an idea what to expect. Achieving the be-goggled and masked look without using the Han sculpt looks simpler than I imagined, since it has that special hairpiece for the helmet, and the goggles are non-translucent.
All you need is a bald, neckless sculpt, and likely some blue/white tack to use as filler to settle the hair in the correct place.
I think I have just the thing: Xensation's Stallone Dredd head, which has sat in a drawer since I swapped it for the VTS version.
